Went to East St Market to buy Agege Bread, stopped off at Morrisons to buy Soft & Gentle deodorant and Kinder Bueno. Till problems @ Morrisons when checking out, only one member of staff helping to rectify all customers issues, she was great helping everyone.
Thank you to the member of staff who had many people to help ?

The bad experience with this supermarket starts at the entrance. In both entrances on either side of the building , you are confronted with beggars and homeless people. Then you enter the premises?overcrowded supermarket in a rough area of London. People are like zombies in this shop . I spend my time trying not to collide with them. Always some kind of product shortages too. Very frustrating , it gives a feel on how the Cold War must have been like in Russia when the shelves were empty. I often go around midday , the staff is also in the way with their crates and trolleys filling up the shelves. The choices of fruits for instance are quite limited too. In my opinion considering that it?s a very over crowded place with little space to manoeuvre , this activity should take place BEFORE the opening of the store not whilst an army of people are trying to do their shopping. It?s a shame as this shop has got potential but I can only assume that is very badly run.

The security guards and goods of this supermarket are of poor quality and have not improved for a long time. The supermarket parking lot will secretly and cunningly fine customers' cars.

Too much disinterest in customer service - often shelf edge prices are less than at the till, stock is often out for long periods, lack of queue management esp. at the kiosk where two queues can form. Security is impolite, if you ask for help they just point to an empty kiosk rather than calling anybody. One day a customer was put on the kiosk phone whilst long queues building-up, instead of management dealing in person.
There?s a new supermarket coming in September / October (almost opposite) so they need to improve to keep customers, otherwise footfall will disintegrate.
Lastly, why are staff using the disabled trolleys to pick e-bike etc. orders instead of being available for less able customers?

Grocery store. Good selection of cheeses, crackers, liquor, beer, wine, meats, baked goods, and of course all your necessary canned & boxed processed foods. Friendly staff.

After scanning all my items on self service till point I went to pay and I realized I didn't have enough money on my card so I tried a few times and unfortunately I was on a machine which was card only and I had cash so was hoping to take some items off and pay the rest with the tenner I had on me, I waited for ages after all that The assistant came over and we had to bring all the shopping to the customer service to pay from there making me wait even longer and just so much aggravation. What happened to Taking some items off and letting me pay from same machine or go to another machine that accepted both cash and card. Complicated process I use to work in retail myself so I can't understand why such a simple thing could not have been carried out. The other assistant who did the extra what I want and what I don't want seemed peed off even though I only had a basket not even a full basket. No thankyou kiss my arse just lethargic miserable service. I don't know what's happened to customer service if It was not for customers they wouldn't have staff or jobs to for people.

Reasonable store, security guards perverted middle aged men who look far to closely at any pretty woman.

I've been coming to Morrisons for the last 5 years, and it's my go-to supermarket in Walworth road. All essentials can be found here, and there is a very good selection of meat and fish. Friendly staff, particularly the cashiers and manager Manoj, always helpful.

This branch used to have an excellent selection of meat and fish, including unusual, cheap but delicious cuts and fish varieties. It is now a sad shadow of its former self in that respect. Which is particularly unfortunate because the rest of the store was always dingy, poorly stocked and depressing? and it still is.
Somehow, upgrading the freezers and fridges a while back has actually made that area of the shop look even worse. Similarly counter-intuitively, the addition of loads more self-checkouts has somehow made paying for your shopping slower. I think this is because many of the checkouts are card only, while a large proportion of the clientele want to pay by cash. The fact they seem to be on a dial-up internet connection and running software designed in the era of Windows XP probably doesn?t help.
On the plus side, at least the number of day drinkers, smackheads and thieves here is relatively low, as they favour the Co-op up the road.
