It's not that easy to find a WHSmith store now, ever since the Palmers green, north Finchley and wood green branches have all closed, it's a pretty small WHSmith, they don't normally have the stuff you need, I normally go online for books and Asda for stationary equipment, it does have a DHL counter thoughEdit: the terrific service from the cashier was incredible! They had a nice card and some great stationary equipment, it was very quiet inside though, overall, 4 stars now

Terrible retail experience. First, google thinks they open at 8.30 so there I was, sitting in the Costa opposite waiting patiently with my coffee for them to open so I can restock on the kids Blue Frixion pens that some other kid keeps pinching from his pencil case. Finally, around 9am they open and I go in there wanting to be as quick as possible - get the pens, get out.Instead I had 20+ mins in store, going back and forth to the till, figuring out where stuff was, how much it was and how their 3for2 "promo" works. Main gripes are:1) stock is seriously low. I'd understand more if it was just after back-to-school week, but this seems either lazy or poorly managed2) 3 for 2 offer across all the same brand Frixion pens is somehow not a mix and match promo! So you need 3 of the EXACT same Frixion set, which due to issue #1 is impossible!3) half the stock isn't even priced and doesn't everyone love being surprised at the till?4) they've mixed some £9.99 pens amongst the £6.99 pens (that look very similar but one has a rubber grip) so even when you think you finally nailed the 3 for 2, it comes out as £23.97 instead of £13.98 and you gotta go back again because who spends that much on 6 pens?!!Only positive is that the guy at the till did try to help and seemed to understand my frustration.

Kids mother popped in for a tenancy agreement. Firstly, the prices have jumped up from £6.99 for 5 forms to £16.99 for one.More annoyed though at the rude service received at the checkout. Someone must of been having a bad day at work.

Loved the place. Books, writing and drawing tools and everything was well organized. Even magazines! That's impressive. Keep up the good work, you guys! What I didn't like is the missing Strike books but I guess it was just for a while. The cashier was careful and extremely friendly.

Bad experience. One of the staff members (who was a quite old lady) is horrible. She was so rude and not helpful at all.

A nice little store. However, it could be bigger and sell more stock.
