It was not a great experience. Had an appointment booked with a designer who did not seem interested. Instead, he asked to email the floor plans and measurements for him to design a few options and discuss them in the next meeting. Shame we travelled all the way to email him from his office.
It gets worse. After 4 calls to check on the update, he claimed he had emailed us, but nothing came through. He was clearly avoiding us. I'm not sure why.
If you don't want to serve, then just tell us. Why waste customer time?

I will surely stop by to look in the eye and say hello next time I am in the area.

Kumar at Howdens southall very professional and excellent service . Thank you kumar for supporting me throughout with my kitchen project it would have not be as satisfactory results without your full support. I am happy with Howdens southall and I have already passed the contact details to my friend who also looking to have her kitchen done .

Generally super positive experience especially with Kumar the manager. However, I had a snide uncalled for remark made to me when returning an item from a member of staff at the till - a bald man whose name I didn?t catch. I doubt he would have made such a remark had I been a man. Do better.

It?s such a shame I?m actually leaving this review. I?ve usually worked with Amrit for all my projects assisting other builders and tradesmen but he?s left firm now and it seems like the standards and customer service levels have gone with him too!I sent through a floor plan requesting a design on Friday morning. Only to end up bickering over when the floor plan was sent through with an employee named Vemul. Absolutely ridiculous! If the team hadn?t got the design done I would?ve been fine. But my last design actually took 2 weeks to come back. I stressed my concern and Vemul was just rude and abrupt.I would happily take this post down as and when my design is complete and I am fully satisfied with the service standards

Spent 9k on kitchen was told its the best quality.After month a few of the doors had bubbles and they sent someone out and he admitted there is something wrong no one contacted me for 2 months and now they have a rude manager in place called Peter who advised the guy they sent out is not qualified and if I want someone to check there faulty doors I have to pay OMG that was ridiculous and he put the phone down on me because he was making no sense and trying to get me to do his work to chase with head office but happy to take money and call me everyday to order.I would recommend to go wren or someone else Howdens are scammers and warranty is load of rubbish and don't get back to you for monthsI have wasted my money and these doors are terrible quality and breaking are crackling already and the branch is not willing to help at all.They also need to give a course to Peter the manager on how to handle situations like this and not hang up on customers.Update -As you can see the below response from Howden its been over a week and no one has contacted me.

i am a project manager and mostly i deal with lots of kitchens, doors, floor coverings etc...most of the time it is a nightmare...In this shop there is a guy called "RICHARD". thin & kind bloke with lots of patience.....go directly to him and say all your problems + what you want. he will sort you out %100. after the purchase; he tracks it as well. calls, asks if any missing item..or if something went wrong. i have taken projects very far from southall branch but i still do call this man to sort my issues...its a good shop with good guys in it. good luck with your project...
