I've been going here for years. Initially, the bargains were very good and some products were much cheaper than other stores. My most recent visit was disappointing in that bargains are hard to find. Some prices were higher than supermarkets.

I never usually visit Home Bargains , my mum does. But yesterday evening I thought I?d give it a go and I regret it! I was greeted at the till by a young female , Asian who was extremely loud which I know now was to compensate for her lack of knowledge.
I spent over £40 and picked up cetrazine for myself. I have been diagnosed with Urticarial vasculitis and rather than be on steroids for third time in under 3 weeks I was told to take Certrazine 4x a day. I was asked if I had any ID I said no but I do have a picture of my license and passport on my phone which she said she couldn?t accept. She then proceeded to say it?s just because you look on the young side of 25. Excuse me? I?m 27 and you?ve happily scanned through monster energy drinks but didn?t question that? People like her take her job way too seriously. I will be making a formal complaint. Whilst I?m sure it?s at the employees discretion explain why I?ve been allowed to purchase Monster energy drinks and wasn?t challenged about my age then? Not only that , it?s cetrazine. Not flipping morphine! It can be taken by kids. Yet alone a 27 year old. So thanks home bargains! I know she was intentionally being difficult because I?ve purchased this before at Tesco and never been asked for ID neither has it flagged up on the self scan tills. I hope your ego was worth the complaint hun

Pick your time - use the graphic display in maps to check. Very busy, or just busy most of the day. Car park is OK but you can avoid the crowded area in front of the door by turning left after you pass the door - not many people find the overflow area!
Always good for saving money - just don?t be too fussy. If it?s a big brand item, but not the one you normally buy, consider being adventurous and trying it.
The pharmacy shelves are usually well stocked for family needs.
Toys, kids clothing, party dress and a surplus of sweets. What?s to say except Ouch when temptation is priced at the till!
I?m not going to delve deeper into the myriad of lines on sale elsewhere in these shops. Take your time browsing and see what temps you.
