I had an amazing experience at Woodford Bar & Grill! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a great mix of lively energy and relaxed comfort. The food was absolutely delicious cooked to perfection and full of flavour.
A special shout-out to Lauren, the bar woman, who really made the night stand out. She was friendly, attentive, and clearly knows her craft. Her cocktail recommendations were spot on, and she served everything with a genuine smile that made us feel right at home.
I?ll definitely be coming back, highly recommend!

Can?t speak for the food as we didn?t get any but avoid on Friday nights. It looks quite classy on the face of it but it?s anything but.

The service wasn?t the worst however considering it was very quiet and only had 2 tables eating, I?d hate to imagine how slow it would be during a busy period. The man behind the bar was on his phone for 80% of our time there, didn?t bother to ask if we wanted anymore drinks and wasn?t even the one to take plates, the chef did. Despite that we still thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Food was cooked beautifully and tasted amazing. I love the fact that the chef himself brought us the food, he is so lovely and really knows his stuff. He was very friendly and informative, the chef is the best part about this place. And service would of been better if the chef had just done it himself, he was the one who asked if everything was okay with food, he was also the one to ask if we would like any more sauces, he was also the one who offered us deserts. The chef is amazing. Would definitely eat here again if the bar staff improve.

10/10 service done by Lauren. Enjoyed every moment I had in the pub. I am recommending everyone to stop by even for some food. Food was delicious. I ordered burger, the meet was nice soft and juicy just like I love it!

The Woodford Bar and Grill is located just a ten-minute walk from South Woodford Station and is conveniently situated near busy bus routes. The decor is vibrant and appealing, particularly attracting a younger crowd with features like music, cocktails, and a pool table.
The bar also functions as a restaurant, serving food that focuses on a blend of grilled items and American-style fast food. While the food is generally well-cooked, it tends to be a bit heavy on the salt. The drinks are decent, but the cocktails could use improvement, as they lack strong flavor and alcohol content.
The service is acceptable, though the servers can sometimes become easily distracted. As a new establishment in the area, the venue is attempting to cater to an older demographic by using marketing tactics that involve scantily dressed women, which has not proven to be an effective strategy. This dual approach seems to create some confusion as it tries to appeal to both younger and older audiences.
Furthermore, the Woodford Bar and Grill faces strong competition from a well-established pub nearby, which is more popular among locals. With a clearer identity and better understanding of its target market, the bar could potentially stand out more. For now, the overall experience remains average.
