Went in this morning just craving a chicken burger. Saw a staff member sitting on the freezer inside the shop. Completely unhygienic and off-putting.
I?ve seen similar things before?something needs to change. This isn?t what customers expect from a food place.
Hope management looks into this and fixes it quickly.

It was the early hours of the morning. We were starving, and Chicken Cottage looked shut. Shutters down. Hopes crushed. But then ? like a hero in the night ? bossman spotted us, gave a nod, and lifted the shutters like Moses parting the sea.
He fired the fryers back up just for us. The wings? Heavenly. The chips? Lifesaving. That man didn?t just serve food ? he restored our faith in humanity.
Knight him.

Food is always tasty and delicious, staff are attentive and helpful. Not many chains get both quality and service correct but this branch always stands out and sets the standard!

Many comments about overpricing and ripping off, i did the maths after and realized id been ripped off, very cheeky staff, dishonest, always take a receipt if you come here, or just don't bother with their bad energy. Every good review they have is from friends and family and false

I don?t usually leave reviews, but this fried chicken shop practically begged for one?just not the kind they?d want.
First off, the smell when I walked in should have been my first warning sign. Not the mouth-watering aroma of crispy, seasoned chicken, but an off-putting, greasy stench that made me wonder how often they clean their fryers?if ever.
Then came the prices. I don?t mind paying a little extra for quality, but this place is charging gourmet prices for what tastes like reheated gas station leftovers. My chicken was greasy, overcooked on the outside, and somehow still rubbery and cold in the middle. I?ve had better fried chicken at 2 a.m. from a vending machine.
As for the customer service?if you enjoy being ignored, glared at, and treated like you're inconveniencing the staff just by existing, then congratulations, you?ve found your happy place. Otherwise, expect to be spoken to with all the warmth of a delivery employee on their worst day.
Bottom line: this place is a total rip-off. The food stinks (literally and figuratively), the service is abysmal, and the prices are borderline insulting. Avoid like the plague.

I recently visited Chicken Cottage and was genuinely impressed! The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavour. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside?exactly how it should be. I tried the spicy wings and peri peri chicken, and both were delicious. The staff were friendly, polite, and quick to serve. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall experience. Great value for money too. I?ll definitely be coming back!
