No arguments, no fluff, no small talk, no rude staff,
just pack and go,
Good customer service unlike the big four,
I always do my basic shopping in Aldi,
only time I ever use the big four is if its something I can't find in Aldi, or its late at night and I need something

Closest Aldi to me but not always the most practical. Enfield has one and much more around than the Chingford one does. Shops, Cinema and restaurants.
Been around a short time but very welcome addition to the area. Not many places offer half as much for reasonable prices. Fruit always good there, cheap and good to eat. Especially like apples which most places like to destroy. Unbeatable offer on veggies being just 8p. Which many come just for that alone. It's overall good for the budget shopper.

A great local Aldi ? clean, well-organised, and always well-stocked. The prices are unbeatable, and the quality of fresh produce, bakery items, and essentials is consistently good.
Staff are friendly and efficient, making checkout quick even during busy times. Overall, a convenient and reliable place to do your weekly shop.

Aldi - Chingford
I won't return to this store due to consistent racial profiling. While service was excellent when it opened in 2022, it has since declined. Self-checkout staff often seem disengaged until a person of colour approaches, despite busy queues. On multiple occasions, I noticed staff lingering behind me, closely monitoring my actions and those of other people of colour. When I asked a colleague if they would like to check my receipt and bag, to ensure we are on the same page from being made to feel uncomfortable, they responded with a bad attitude that was difficult to comprehend due to their broken English.
Additionally, I was challenged by self-checkout staff when there was supposedly no security guard on duty, demanding to check my bags after completing my purchase for security reasons, and will be requesting to check every customers bag as a consequence, I pointed out that they hadn't requested to check the bags of two other customers who happened to be Caucasian, which left them speechless and ashamed. This issue isn?t just personal?others of colour have faced similar treatment, regardless of age and gender etc.
For such a multiethnic part of London, it's surprising that there doesn't appear to be anybody of colour working at the branch. I haven't seen the only person of colour employed by the branch in ages.
When I raised my concerns with customer service, they promptly sent a generic templated email with grammatical errors. Abysmal to say the least! Therefore, I have decided to continue shopping at Sainsbury's and Morrisons, where I feel valued. Aldi, you can do better.

I love Aldi but it's really disappointing to see how many vegan lunch options have disappeared from this branch, no vegan sandwiches whatsoever now which feels like a complete step backwards
