This is one of the worst run pizza places in South East London. Theirservice is poor and slow, and the atmosphere, like their attitude, demeanor is questionable. On deliveries, 8 times out of 10, the food will be delivered very late.

They don't pay attention to the drivers

Went this evening. On arrival told we might have a little wait as they were busy. One and a half hours later, i asked the waitress where our olives and doughballs were ( starter )...she replied...i took your order didnt i ? I suggested it all came out together as we are busy ????? When i replied no, it was a starter, why would we want it with our pizza and salad ? Could you at least get our olives ? Within about 10 mins our whole order arrived which seemed to be happening with every table in there this evening. Very bad customer service this evening......clearly need a new manager.

Great venue. Lovely grub! Decor is based on Quentin Blake, with pictures from the books he illustrated for. Great service.

Very Confusing deals and promotions with a lot of terms and conditions that are not clearly stated anywhere!
Thought we would try the 2 cocktails for £10 but it was not clear you could not use this with any other deals. This includes the set meal.
Very disappointed!

I come for a family meal for a birthday, our waiter was outstanding and couldn?t do enough for us unfortunately i didn?t catch his name but he know who he is he really helped my family out and myself unfortunately Roxanne (the assistant manager I believe) was awful rude customer care was not there at all and as we were seated near the delivery window (that was permanently left open) we requested 3 times that after the delivery men were gone if she could shut the window each time we was told yes and to take a seat but Roxanne was leaving it wide open and walking off for a long time talking to staff.
I am a manager in a fast paced restaurant so I understand deliveries can me hectic and a busy restaurant can be overwhelming but I always take our paying and seated customers feeling and comfort in to consideration and after speaking to her yet again she was rather rude and once asked for her name (after she was rude to my dad) then looked at me with a rather rude look shouted her name and went on to talk to staff about irrelevant things not about work there were many people complaining and eating dinner with their coats on however when there were no drivers there for a solid 35 minutes Roxanne didn?t seem to care our customer care was not there what so ever she was rather disappointing.
Pizza express should really give proper training and review their management as the gentleman who was serving us was polite and even agreed with us on this situation.
I just want to confirm I hate leaving negative feedback as I understand a fast paced busy environment but customer service was awful from the manager and the lovely man would do a much better job in position

Have not been to PE for a number of months. The food and service were really good. To be honest, it used to be the place to go but the hike in prices now make it less of a regular eatery. Very surprised.

It's been a while since I have been to a pizza express, prices have seemed to have increased by 15% . Food is always consistent and you know what to expect. Nothing to see here ,move along please
