Please, please, please do not use this company for lens replacement surgery. My wife recently had this done and had an 11:15 a.m. appointment with this branch. She was continually 'bumped' down the schedule throughout the day and ended up having her procedure at 5.15pm!! having waited in a bright waiting area all day (having received drops that dilated the eyes which made bright light very uncomfortable). She formally complained and no compensation was offered. Oh, and you'll be offered an 'upgrade' to the lens at the last minute for an extra £500. Don't fall for it. Not the service you'd expect having spent £7300. Please try elsewhere. This company is atrocious!

Only would recommend the White City Westfield branch and not the Harley street branch as the staff and optometrist are very rude and so unprofessional unlike the White City branch where every single member of staff from the reception staff to the surgeons are all so friendly , patient and very knowledgeable. Thank you to all the wonderful people we have met at White City .

The staffs are nice and explained the whole the process with me. Although I didn?t like that my procedure was changed on the day of my surgery but it was explained to me why. Recovery process was explained to me prefectly and whenever you need help with something they are always eager to help. I will 100% recommend them always. Oh and my sight, is better than 20 20 vision, I don?t need glasses and I see perfectly. Thank you to the team at Optical Express ?

Always a long wait, very friendly staff though. Not happy with the £50 contact fitting charge while I ordered the contacts from them, usually the fittings or eye exams are waved when you buy the more expensive item ( glasses/contacts) from them.

In June, I underwent an eye examination and am still awaiting the delivery of my new glasses. Despite numerous phone calls, I have not received a return call.
I have also contacted Rayhan and Ilahah, who promised to contact me after investigating the matter via email. However, I have yet to receive any response.
These safety glasses are urgently required for my work.

I came to get a second opinion and was told I do need YAG which was good news and my left eye vision has greatly improved

Will not recommend the lens replacement surgery to anyone. Specifically at Optical Express. Horrible experience for myself. Extremely misleading information from day one. No side effects explained. All they kept telling me that I will have great improved vision after the surgery. They are only good at one thing which is selling the surgery to you making it look like the best thing for your eyesight.Customer care does not exist at all. This is the first time in my lifetime, where there is no aftercare shown after a surgery. No one ever returns your calls, which is so frustrating. When you go back and ask afterwards,they deny everything that was promised at initial consultation. I was clearly told that someone gave me wrong information. After paying huge amounts of money, still no improvement of sight in one eye.Its a lifetime concern for me and i am told that i have to live with it. They are so incompetent that they are not even confident about their own work. Every staff member gives you different information and when you call them they are not polite at all specially at westfield branch. So no care is shown at all. My sight in one eye is completely ruined, when I went back to show my concerns, I was told that nothing can be done now as it's too late. They keep telling you in the initial months that it will take several months for your eyesight to settle and i have to wait months for it to settle but when after several months it doesn't settle, you are told it's too late now. Even the surgeon treated me like a number, was in such a rush to get me out of the way. I wish I had listened to my heart that day and stopped her from performing my surgery when I was getting mistreated !!!!!!
Please please anyone who is thinking about having any treatments at Optical Express, please find out every single fact beforehand from a qualified surgeon and get everything in writing before the surgery as everything will be denied afterwards. And the same staff that is very nice to you before you have paid your money will be very rude to you. Wish I had not gone there !!!!!!!

Having worn glasses and contacts for the last 15 years I was always looking at laser treatment initially. I?d never heard of lense replacement.
Right from the start and even up to now where I?ve had the procedure and the follow up are continuing, the service has been outstanding.
The payments were carefully looked at and both parties, myself and optical express ensured a fair way of payment.
The consultation was very thorough with the procedure booked a month later.
My vision admittedly is not absolutely perfect but I?m now not wearing glasses, also after my month check up, they will give me another 2 months before eyes settle down properly before deciding if I need a slight correction with laser.
During the procedure. I was told what to expect which took any fear and anxiousness away. The strangest sensation, which disappeared after 2-3 hours is feeling like you have eyes open underwater. However, throughout the next few hours and the next couple of weeks you can notice a marked improvement in sight. Even today it is improving whilst my eyes heal properly
Really recommend this for anyone that?s not sure

I had a LASIK consultation at the Westfield clinic, where Harleen and Amandeep thoroughly explained the procedure and assessed my suitability for surgery. They were warm, patient, and answered all my questions, making it easy to schedule the next steps. I felt confident moving forward with the procedure, which was performed by Dr. Ghassan Ayoubi at the Harley St clinic. The surgery was a success ? I recovered within a day and achieved better than 20/20 vision. Overall, a smooth and reassuring experience from start to finish. I would 100% recommend them!
