Really poor experience at CEX, was quoted a price for my console. Took hours to update the console and then after an hour and 45 minutes I return to be quoted a lower price of half the original. I then took this price and was told they?d need another 30 mins to check the games, the manager then said they can email the voucher to me (an email I had to spell out letter for letter) That would have saved me almost 2 and a half hours of back and forth. Terrible customer service and a staff of people that done have a clue!

Been to various cex branches for computer parts. This was the first one that handled components woth due care and each was in individual ESD bags. Staff who served me was so polite and chatty as well ! Shepherds Bush is a cut above the rest !

Really if i could give -10000 stars could do. Selling stuff that is not functional. Then surprise, no refund as the guy at the counter is beeing a d?. So. Yeah. Really not recommending this shop?.

Went to this CEX branch yesterday to purchase a new gaming monitor and a MacBook Pro for work. Of all the CEX I?ve been to I?ve always held a really positive opinion of Shepherd?s Bush, the store is always nicely presented, clean, tidy, the staff are super helpful but yesterdays experience was really something else and prompted me to write this review. Jordan?s customer service skills were nothing short of exceptional. Polite, well spoken, very informative on the 2day exchange policy and 2year warranty, kindly took the time to carefully wrap the MacBook so I could get it home safely. I was so impressed. As someone who runs a retail business and has attended many customer service excellence training seminars, Jordan?s qualities are everything retail owners want in a team member and I cannot praise his service high enough. Many thanks for taking the time to help me yesterday. Wish all the team the very best!

I like this shop because you can find some really rare stuff there, you might check other stores but this one has a lot of good stuff inside, many games and dvds I am certain this place has some great things that anyone can find. Service is ok as well not fast but not too slow

Staff are generally okay but not as informed as I would like for this kind of shop.Cover reprints on games £20+ should be discounted and there's an abundance of these littered around the store.As with any cex it's lucky dip as to whether anything is in decent condition. This is one praise as staff are often very accommodating when checking disc quality and condition.Overall a solid store but not the best cex by any stretch.

The staff at this store have no idea what good customer service is . They sold me a scratched CD and told me it was fine . Clearly it was not . I also came into the store the day before to polish some movies that I bought but left them on the counter to come back the next day and be told that they have been stolen , and that it?s not their responsibility without even checking cameras or even attempting to check where their colleagues had placed them . You have lost a customer that has been buying from you for years.

Traveled Long way to come into this branch as the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VRII was showing 1x in stock,Upon Arriving into the store checkout desk i was greeted by a lady (unknown name) i asked for the product so she started checking the system for the provided name of the product but she struggled to find an exact match on her system, she then asked me to go on my phone and look it up and show her the exact name, at this time my phone?s 4G connection was bad, she asked me to connect to the CEX un protected wifi (No thank you)Why would i connect to an un protected internet connection ?So finally had a good connection to my 4GGot her the exact name and showed herAt this time she looked like she cant pull a smile and not really enjoying her job,She went to look for the Lens and came backWith the lens in her hands .. the lens does not have a lens hood or a tripod mount collar,Or box or anything,I asked to examine the lens on my camera,So i started looking at the lens and examining it,At this time i asked where?s the missing parts?She replies oh this is how it comes its a lens?I?m confused so then she said she will look to see if it comes with it? after waiting 10-15min later, she comes back saying we should have it but its missing in our store ?Are you happy to take it as it is?Im like if i get a discount then yea(I will buy the missing parts) which costs at least £150She replied no sorry we cant offer a discount ..Ok fine i dont want it then and leave..This wasted half a day and my journey to this store,,CEX does not provide photos of products listed on their branches which is silly, also they dont have a direct phone numbers for the stores again sillyNever will buy anything from CEX again..

Unfortunate Experience with Warranty ClaimI recently purchased a PS5 with two controllers from Cex (w12). While I was initially satisfied with my purchase, I encountered an issue with one of the controllers. When I took it to the store for warranty service, I was informed that the serial numbers didn't match their records, leading them to believe that I hadn't purchased it from them.I want to clarify that I did purchase both controllers from cex (w12). However, the store's response to my issue has been disappointing. Instead of working with me to resolve the problem, they immediately dismissed my claim and accused me of not buying the controller from them.As a loyal customer, I expected better customer service and a more understanding approach to my situation. It is disheartening to feel like my concerns are being ignored and that my money has essentially been wasted.I urge cex (w12) to reconsider their stance and provide a fair assessment of my warranty claim. It is important for businesses to stand by their products and ensure customer satisfaction. I hope that cex (w12) takes this feedback seriously and improves their customer service to avoid similar situations in the future.

I had an amazing experience at CEX. All the stuff is amazing especially the employee called Dominik, he was very patient with me and explained everything thoroughly. He really made sure I understood everything correctly and was overall very helpful and happy.
