I visited Al Forno expecting authentic Italian, but found almost none of it. Despite they claiming to be ?authentic Italian? the menu is an overstuffed grab-bag, alongside generic pies, there are burgers, breakfasts, overshadowing what little genuine Italian cuisine there might be.
Yes, the food was edible but tastes nothing like Italian. Could be tried once, but it lacks soul and tradition. Other nearby Italian spots in Hammersmith deliver far more authentic, regionally rooted dishes that actually taste Italian. If you?re searching for the real thing, skip this one.

What a poor meal. I went for the sirloin steak, I was asked how I would like it cooked to which I replied medium.
When it arrived it was so small and very well done, Served with bisto gravy ?. The waitress came for the bill we told her how disappointed we were, she couldn?t care less.

Al Forno serves the best Italian pizza I?ve ever had in London! The crust is perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, with just the right chew, and the toppings are fresh and full of authentic Italian flavor. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and make everything with care. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it feel like a little slice of Italy in the city. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always happy to recommend something delicious. If you love pizza, this is an absolute must-visit!

Went there twice, the food was absolutely DELICIOUS both times. I had the salmon the first time and it was cooked to perfection! Crispy skin, juicy fish, seasoned wonderfully. The second time I went there, I had a pasta dish that was, again, cooked perfectly. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Wonderful casual place to eat.

Far away from original italian restaurant. Nothing against but don?t expect traditional pizza from indian cook. The same like italian cook will serv you butter chicken or tandori ?

super nice and attentive staff. we got our food very fast after ordering. food was amazing, and portions were generous. nice place with a variety of table sizes, very cozy. can become a bit loud during rush times, but still not too much

We had a fantastic meal this evening ! The team are fabulous also. Quick service and great atmosphere, we all kept saying we felt as if we were on holiday ! And the food was so good I couldn?t resist saving some for my lunch tomorrow ! We will definitely be back and introduce lots of people to your restaurant! 100000/10 !

Honestly staff is super nice but the decoration and fourniture os far too old. Food is ok but really too greasy. Canzone are made out of chicken which is not really the recipe. Sea food is so so.

You get what you pay for and I was very happy with what I paid for.
The pasta isn?t homemade but who cares? The sauce tastes great. Food comes quickly and is hot. The prices are very good value. Portion was big.
Only thing I would suggest is changing the opening times on here as I chose to come here at 9:30pm because I understood it?d be open till 11pm but they closed at 10pm so it was a bit of a rushed experience.
