I didn't even realise service like this still existed. I phoned early morning with a big problem. Michael (not sure if he is the manager) answered and did his very best to help in a difficult situation where my daughter's friend (who was coming with us on holiday the following day) broke her glasses beyond repair. This branch has a same day service and a wide choice of prices and frame designs thankfully and we managed to get a difficult prescription fulfilled on the same day. They didn't have space for an eye test so we had the eye test elsewhere then the glasses made here... They weren't funny about this and just wanted to reach a good result.
My daughter's friend came away with lovely glasses that didn't cost the earth. Michael did his best to look into what NHS reductions she could make use of which helped tremendously. Would highly recommend.

Always a positive experience. The staff are friendly, professional and very patient throughout my appointments. Everything is explained clearly and I never feel rushed. Highly recommend!

Unexpectedly traffic meant I arrived 15 mins late on a busy Friday afternoon and yet I was greeted by a team who I feel went above and beyond to see me for me FOC eye test, which in the end did not lead to me needing new glasses. Thank you

Have been going to Ruislip Vision Express since it opened. The opticians are very thorough, they know my eye history, all the staff are friendly and welcoming. I would not have my eye tested anywhere else.

I've been a loyal customer for several years and previously had nothing but great experiences. However, my last two visits have been extremely disappointing.
From the outset, I was greeted with an unprofessional attitude ? ?cool? and ?wicked? aren?t appropriate ways to welcome a patient. During my post-op appointment, I was shocked that the optician I saw didn?t know what dysphotopsia was, which is quite concerning given the context of my surgery.
After the appointment, I felt like I had walked into a sales pitch rather than a healthcare environment ? it came across more like a scam shop than an optician?s office. Things got even worse when I returned to pick up my new glasses. I politely mentioned that I had left my AX glasses pouch during my previous visit when handing over my frame. Instead of being assisted with understanding, I was accused of trying to get a free pouch. One staff member aggressively questioned whether I was sure I had left it, and another stood over me while something was removed from the new case I was given ? a very uncomfortable and embarrassing situation.
Although I had originally left a blue pouch and was given a black one ? which I didn?t mind ? the handling of the situation was unacceptable. It?s a real shame to have had such poor experiences recently, as I had always valued your service. I'm now seriously considering moving to a different optician.
