If you like sports has plenty of screens to watch.
Great Sunday lunch.
It's a good idea to book for lunch as it's always busy on the weekend.

Alex Arranged his 30th at The Black Bull last week.
Despite living in the area for 30 years, I had never been to the pub and was really impressed!
The owner went above and beyond to accommodate us, he got it spot on with the pre ordered platters & pizzas. The bar staff were amazing, constantly clearing tables and no queues at the bars which is such a plus when you know you have a lot of people attending!
I really enjoyed the day and will definitely be coming back!

I booked the restaurant area for my birthday a few weeks ago, we had around 70 people come and there was plenty of room for everyone, especially as we had lovely weather so lots of people went into the garden. We were able to order food which was very reasonably priced and there was a band on for entertainment, this area can be hired for free, which is amazing when you compare it to a lot of the local halls for hire that are very expensive, there were plenty of bar staff working so our guests weren?t waiting to be served, all in all I had a fantastic night, I couldn?t recommend The Black Bull more, thanks to everyone who made my birthday so memorable.

The food was alright. Nothing special. The batter on the fish was too thick and oily. The portion was huge!

It myself and a good friend of mine. 1st time in finally getting to visit this Pub. I really felt comfortable and was made welcome. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and friendly regulars. Will definitely visit again.
Good Guinness pull and various Gin selection for my friend.

I had the lamb roast today. Delicious meal, well presented and a very generous serving. The landlord was charming and very welcoming. The surroundings added to the enjoyment of our meal. Coming from New Zealand and not really experiencing the pleasure of having a 'local' .... it was a pleasure. Thank you.

Visited Christmas eve the pub was busy however no excuse to run out of glasses and serve drinks in plastic glasses.
Also dirty toilets and no toilet tissue or replaced when requested.
