This is a really efficient doctors surgery. My last doctor's I would be over 50 in qué waiting to talk to a receptionist! Called yesterday at 6:10 pm and appointment this morning. Brilliant service.

Attended surgery with an concern about a broken finger, Gp looked at it and said " thats normal what do you expect" I explained i had followed the advise from 111 and nurse and pharmacist have advised to get finger checked that it still looks broken. He replied "Are you questioning my medical expertise"!? i said yes i am..! So i requested a xray, he begrudgingly gave me a walk in xray! Went in had it xrayed, still broken! 3 weeks later this same Gp has rejected my repeat prescription that ive been on since 2015 and even taken repeat medications off and changed them to acute, without any reason given.! And has just sent a text message saying i have rejected and to book an appointment to review and discuss recent xray. I called the surgery who had no further information and couldnt answer as to why this Gp has rejected my medication and changed my repeat to acute... i have now asked that i no longer have anything to do with this particular gp. and await to hear from the surgery.

Absolutely appalling surgery. Never any appointments on the day, the receptionists are rude, arrogant and have a god complex and act like they are the doctor and when you do actually manage to get an elusive appointment the doctors don't listen, show no interest in what you have to say and don't even bother to read the notes they themselves left from the previous time you saw them. Absolutely disgusting surgery and should be closed down for reckless endangerment

In terms of the assistance from the Reception staff I want to thank them very much indeed for their help in resolving an issue. My 5 stars goes to Deena and her colleague for their understanding, professionalism, approachability and determination to resolve the matter for me. Deena, thank you very much.

I have been registered at this practice for many years. For the past 1 year I have seen a drastic improvement at all levels from reception, doctors and management.I can always get an appointment, via phone or patch?s. You can definitely see that whole team support each other and are very friendly. You can definitely see patient care.I am very lucky to be a patient here butI feel bad when some patients are rude to the receptionists. In comparison to my previous surgery, St Martins is great at all levels.

The manager at the practice called Ranvir is extremely rude, I parked in the surgery car park trying to figure out where I can park and Ranvir came out and told me to move, I explained to him that I have parked my car on the side roads on numerous occasions and it has been hit by other vehicle but he didn't want to listen. I moved my car and when I got back to the surgery he's pointing at me and having a discussion with his colleagues complaining about me parking at the surgery infront of all the other patients. I told him that I had done what he told me so what is the issue, he continued to be abusive by calling me a liar and that I shouldn't had parked there. He was very unprofessional and rude and because of that I will be changing doctor surgeries.

One starVery dissatisfied with the staff (reception) and the current system for booking appointments at this practice. It is unclear, difficult to use, and time-consuming. It is unacceptable that your staff members are paid to simply tell patients to book their appointments on the website, instead of doing so over the phone. Not everyone has access to a computer or is able to understand the website or system. This is particularly concerning for elderly patients, patients with disabilities, and patients who do not speak English as their first language. These patients may need extra assistance to book appointments, but they are currently being denied this assistance.I urge you to review your system for booking appointments and make it more accessible and user-friendly for all patients.I believe that it is important for all patients to have access to timely and efficient healthcare services. I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to improve the booking system at your practice. You said that no one has complained about PATCH, but here is the first formal complaint.

I needed assistance and the staff were so helpful to accommodate me. I even received a call from Dina on a Saturday to advise me of the outcome. I am so pleased with the service provided. Thanks you

Excellent service from all staff over at St Martin's medical centre (Ruislip branch). From the kind ladies at the reception to GPs and nurses, every time we've been there our experience has been really positive.

You will have to wait more than one hour on call just to hear that there is no appointment left and if its urgent go to hospital. If by chance we get an appointment will have to wait more than an hour at the place so that the doctor sees you.15/08/23- No change even now. Worst reception staff who is unkind and never willing to give any appointments even for emergency cases. Worst GP practice ever.

Tracey and Julie on reception have both been caring and kind while I've had various issues to sort out with appointments and prescriptions. Due to an ongoing condition, I have been there a lot and have witnessed their helpful efficiency with other patients, too. Thank you both - it goes a long way when a patient is feeling stressed and anxious. Much appreciated.

Impossible to make an appointment !!! Receptionists will insist you have to pay for private tests, private appointments and see pharmacist instead of dr!!!patch appointments DEALT WITH BY THE RECEPTIONIST. Mostly not responded to, calls by doctors not made or kept. 4 patch appointments over 3 weeks in order for one dr?s call to confirm I needed to see a doctor.Wait on phone up to an hour to be told no appointments available.Absolute shambles of a dr?s surgery.

One of the receptionists does everything she can to not book an appointment. I don?t know if this is due to NHS protocols according to GP Staffing Levels, but she shouldn?t deny a patient to be treated by a doctor and instead advise how this patient should be treated at home. She?s not a doctor! Sometimes the staff tells you to go online to book an appointment, which doesn?t work any better. To all the people who have had issues caused by this practice, you can raise your complaints to the NHS and/or the CQC inspectors. The NHS Constitution says your complaint should be acknowledged within 3 working days, and you should also be told about the outcome of the investigation. To have your complaint investigated, you usually need to complain within 12 months of the event happening, or as soon as you first become aware of the issue you want to complain about.
