Have been to miller and carter before so I know what to expect, and this branch offers a very nice service and food. Food was better during my first at this branch, steak was nicely cooked and everything was great. However I visited again with my family for a late Mother?s Day celebration and this time a lot of the steaks were over cooked, not sure if it?s because there were too many steaks to cook for the table so timing is harder, and the crispy onion side wasn?t crispy and wad quite soggy instead. The starters (crispy squid and Pork) were good on the other hand and service was amazing.
Desserts were also slightly disappointing especially the white chocolate crème brûlée. Wish they could improve on the desserts

Food was good and the service from Hywell was fast and attentive even considering the fact it was a busy Saturday night.
The place could have been cleaner with visible drink splashes dried up the walls around my table. Not something that could have been fixed right away, but should have been addressed with routine cleaning.

Came today on 16th march, ordered a roast dinner sharer platter for me and my friend. When you are paying £60 odd for this, I expect my food to be served HOT! Even though it looked absolutely delicious, i?m very disappointed this came out cold/warm. Wasn?t enjoyable and not very happy that no compensation got taken from our bill when complaining to our waitress.

It was a very busy evening which made the service a little slow and the noise level high, but the food was very good, although the sauces could have been better.

Nothing like the service or food we?ve had at M&C before:
- Steak was 2 grades over cooked, manager tried to rectify it - replacement was uneven. No one checked so gave up
- Sons steak was dry, arriving after our mains
- Starters arrived before drinks
- a lot of waiting staff just seemed to be standing at the pass chatting for most of the evening.
The person serving us was good and the lady with the blonde hair was amazing running around the whole restaurant. But the service and food generally was not up to scratch. Will go back to Rickmansworth next time.

Had a great experience at Miller & Carter. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was superb, perfect for a nice evening out.
The food was decent, but for the price, I expected a bit more in terms of quality.
Overall, it was a solid 7/10, and I?d still recommend it for the ambiance and service.
