I needed to get some glasses fixed - a screw & lens had come out and the ladies were really helpful and fixed them for me free of charge! Very pleased with the service and they both very polite and friendly. I had tried 3 different opticians on the high street before trying boots - all of them refused to fix my glasses because I hadn?t bought them from them directly which I think is ridiculous to be honest - so don?t bother with them and come to boots where they will actually help you!

I had phoned the same morning with an urgent request for a sameday eyetest. They were very helpful and accommodating even though they knew I was not going to be buying glasses from them as I needed a sameday service.
The eyetest was for my daughter's friend who suffers from anxiety and yet I could hear laughter from the test room. It seems the optician knew how to handle nervousness. The prescription must have been very accurate as she was delighted with the resulting glasses which were done on the spot for us at another optician. The Boots team knew this was my plan as the glasses were needed sameday and they still went out of their way to give great service.

Very professional staff and very thorough and well explained results. Its very reassuring to have this level of eye investigation with your most advanced kit. On my visit last year a problem was identified and I was referred to an eye specialist resulting in a lens being replaced very quickly indeed. Well done.
