You can drive there and park, to eat and drink. I believe you need to book the table, otherwise you will be offered to sit in the area without the service, if it's not too busy. There, you'll need to self order food and drink at the bar. Similar to Wetherspoons restaurant. The food will be brought to your numbered table. We had a beef sirloin, but with a disappointment due to very thin slices of the beef. Food was kind of tasteless, unless you added plenty of salt, pepper, sauces like ketchup, mayo or a mustard. Good wine though. There was not much of the service, so can't give more stars for it.

Absolutely awful! I've never posted a negative review previously. Warning Sunday lunch is to be avoided. Most, if not all elements are pre cooked on mass and left by hot plate area, result being a cold plate of food which two of our party Sent back and changed for something safer (burger and chips) after realising how the plate was prepared.Unfortunately the medium rare steak was also well done.Drinks took an entering to arrive.Had to ask for dessert menu after along wait. There were a few other monents that were not up to a standard sadly.Without exaggeration there were 5 more plates of food returned whist our party was sat at the table all for being cold, I'm almost certain it was all roast dinners. Our waitresses was polite and tried to serve as best as possible but as more tables were seated her tasks became to great.Towards the end of our lunch we could only see the funny side of how bad the experience was...Disappointingly as there is only a few times a year we get to meet and enjoy a meal as a family, yesterday was soo bad i felt moved to write this balanced but truthful review. The main motivation being to (if your still reading this....) avoid and book elsewhere. You have now been warned.

Perhaps our experience was mid week malaise. The steaks had to be sent back, as it was bloody rare instead of medium to well done. The place was near empty, so there was no atmosphere, whatsoever. And the service was so gruff, it was incredible. There is a reason this once wondeful venue is empty during the

Was sat directly in front of the chefs cooking station? hHead chef was not wearing a hairnet or hat! His greasy heat hanging all over the food! He was swearing in front of my 3 year old child! The chef?s assistant was serving salad with her bare hands! Then putting her hands in her apron pocket!!!! If you wish to get salmonella poisoning come here!!! Absolute disgusting ?

Great lunch with friends with lots of choice on the menu for all dietary requirements! Eva was our waitress on the day and she was excellent - friendly and but also gave us plenty of time to chat!

The last time we had eaten at The Orchard Beefeater was before COVID and I have been visiting the place occasionally since the seventies. It has had its ups and downs but I had no reason to believe our midweek lunch would be anything to write home about. But it was so here I am at the keyboard. We got there just before noon and the first thing we noticed was just how run down the building exterior is looking. A low roof section facing the car park even has a hole in it. Further on the model Spitfire in the front garden looked sad and forgotten. This is a memorial to the RAF Squadrons manned by brave Polish pilots during the war. I would imagine that if the thing is not refurbished any time soon the fabric of the model will rot. Many of the pilots were fighter aces and in the past the monument has been religiously looked after, affording it the gravitas it deserves. Approaching the doors I was surprised to see the handles were quite clearly sawn-off lengths of scaffold. As well as looking ridiculous the doors were consequently very heavy. The smell between the outer and inner doors, and into the foyer, added to the impression that the managers of this branch need to pull their socks up. I find this unusual because in my experience any pub or restaurant affiliated to a hotel next door has to outperform lest it bring embarrassment on the other brand. In this case I felt that Beefeater was letting down Premier Inn and their customers. Inside we were shown to a table that had rock salt on the seats both sides. Someone's idea of cleaning the table obviously meant depositing the mess on the chairs. A lady sat at the next table along said she too had to wipe salt off the seats. Another lunchtime customer, shown to a table by the window, was put off by stains on both chair cushions so that party went off to find somewhere else to sit. In spite of all this I still had no intention of writing a review. Mrs Reviewer ordered the salmon and I the pork ribs. It came with coleslaw, BBQ sauce and skinny fries. On the plate it all looked delicious and I was eager to tuck in. The meat fell off the bone just perfectly and in the mouth the texture was spot on. Then it all went horribly wrong. I cannot describe the taste other than to say it was unpleasant. Being very hungry I tried dousing the pork in the BBQ sauce but that did nothing. I thought that if made allies of the 'slaw and fries together we could beat the horribly tasting pork into submission but alas, both were completely tasteless and of no help whatsoever. As you can see I could only manage 3 ribs before giving in. In lieu of an apology, or by way of an explanation, the waitress explained that the dishes are brought in pre-prepared. That itself begs the question, if the hygiene rating on the Beefeater door says 5 out of 5, how are we supposed to know anything about the place where these meals are being made? What is their hygiene rating? What are their employees personal habits? How are ingredients stored there? Anyway, although Mrs reviewer rated her salmon as 3/5 I left hungry and could only think of getting to the Wimpy in Ruislip High Street, ASAP. To their credit Beefeater did remove the price of my rack of ribs off the bill and considering the dish appears to get the thumbs-up in other folks' reviews, I suppose I was just unlucky.

This is attached to a hotel. While we were eating our dinner, the staff were preparing for breakfast. I know that this has to be done, but it was where we were sitting. Also, the accessible toilet was out of order, and there was no alternative, so tough luck wheelchair users!!!Wheelchair accessibility: This is a wheelchair accessible restaurant, and it would be ok if the accessible toilet is working

Love this restaurant. Jason and Katie are wonderful and will look after you well. Ask for a table by the window to enjoy the views of the Chilterns.

Food is disgusting here and very slow to arrive. Decent views, so it?s nice to come for a few drinks with friends and/or family

Our family booked this venue because it could accommodate a christening reception for about 80-100 guests. First the (few) positive remarks. It was a sunny day and the outside space was lovely, beautifully landscaped and ideal for the children, with numerous wooden tables. There was plenty of space indoors as well. Now, the other comments. The light-coloured upholstery on the indoor chairs was very visibly dirty, and one arm of my chair wobbled severely, a concern as I?m disabled. We had to wait about half an hour before sandwiches were finally set out, and the rest of the simple buffet food followed slowly after another half hour. The cheese & tomato sandwiches were very poor?the cheddar was so mild that it lacked any flavour and the tomato slice was tiny. The pollock fish bites were delicious and obviously freshly made, being piping hot and with a light crispy coating. The hefty sausage roll slices were also distinctively flavoured, not overly greasy and were generous-sized. Chicken goujons were standard, not a hint of rosemary as described on the menu, and served with BBQ sauce doubtless from a bottle. I didn?t try the chips but the mini jacket potatoes were tough-skinned, perhaps spent too long in the oven. Obviously nothing to say about the crisps. Perhaps we could have chosen better items for the buffet, but most of dishes we had were a big letdown. Sadly, cannot recommend this place.

Had a cocktail in a tall glass. Straw so short for the glass. 2 people had bad stomach all day Sunday.Coffee machine was switched off before 10pm. So no coffee. So I'm being generous giving 3 stars. Plus side great for parking. Certainly won't go there again.

Not recommended. Awful smell in the entrance. Poor quality food which was badly cooked. No soap dispenser in the toilet and 25% discounts not honoured. Give it a miss. (Our waitress was nice though, she?s too good for that place).

Returned today for Sunday lunch, what an improvement. Although busy our food was very good. We were served by Eva and I must say she was great. Friendly. Efficient. And in general helped to make a normal lunch into a pleasant event. Keep it up .
