I love buying from Screwfix but there's some staff members who are clearly not interested in their jobs, being unhelpful, extremely unknowledgeable about the items their sell and with zero interest in achieving a decent customer satisfaction. Now I need to come again to the store, as I did not get any help from the staff and had to google what I need from home. I was speechless when, asking for a suggestion at store, I've been told by two members: "I don't know what we can use to cover it" and "we are not allowed to give recommendations".... Really??? Not sure if it's lack of relevant trainings or just complete lack of interest, but it would be great if the management does something.

Turned up with a ref, asked for it at the counter, left the wrong thing and realised when arrived home. Staff doesn?t care about what you need and clearly doesn?t have a clue of what they are doing. Laughing disrespectfully when being asked for help. Definitely last time there!

Avoid this place. I was served by 2 rude, unprofessional members of staff who were clearly uninterested in their job. There was zero desire to deliver a good service for customers and they made that very clear. I couldn't imagine any employer seriously considering these two to be decent employees. There is a screwfix on Surrey Canal Road - go there. The staff there are excellent.

Always been a fan of Screwfix. Usually they're the cheapest and if not, very competitively priced. Great all-round supplier of tools and construction/DIY supplies. The ability to check stock levels on a per-store basis and the simplicity of checking out on the app and fast pick up..
