I had a very bad experience here. A member of staff followed me to the exit of Surrey quays shopping centre and accused me of stealing an item . I did not steal anything. Why are their staff following people around the shopping mall with no evidence that they have taken anything. I suggest people avoid this store as they obviously have a bad attitude to people

They have a wide range of products, as it's a large shop. Have often found things there I couldn't find elsewhere.

Awful place. I went in there today and i bought a revolution lipstick, it was all used up. There was a curve in the lipstick from where it had been used and all the packaging was dirty. Very annoyed with this. Need to hire more hygenic employees.

You are looking for 1 pound stuff, this is your place. Very convenient, but remember that you get what you pay for. Do not expect high quality, but a place to find stuff to solve issues in the short term.

Frequently runs out of plastic bags which I think is a big con to increase sales of more expensive bags. There isn't any part of me that doesn't believe that they have a load of plastic bags around the back of the store. A shame that they treat customers like this. If the store generally runs out of plastic bags they should reduce the price of the more expensive bags since the customer should not be penalised because of a badly run store.

Racist security guard accused me of being a prolific shoplifter when I went in to buy my Art materials and envelopes for my business. Security called in another Poundland worker to harass me and would not let me show them all my receipts for the Art materials and envelopes I had on me because I had not given them to my Accountant. None of the staff who abused and harassed me with no lawful basis were English so did not understand English values of fair play or honesty they just continually abused me by attacking my character causing me so much distress I had to get a prescription from my Doctor as well as making repeated radio calls to solicit every security contractor in the Surrey Quays Shopping Center to come to help them harass me by abusively attacking my character infront of the crowd without bothering to check the receipts I had on me for all the office supplies I bought in April. Go to The Range at the back of Surrey Quays shopping center it has much better prices on most things and the staff are all helpful and lovely so you can save money whilst having a better quality shopping experience with the money you worked hard for. I will never shop in Poundland again because of the disgusting racial harassment I received from the staff at Surrey Quays Poundland.
