I booked a delivery for my order at Barking avoiding Chadwell heath store but I got a text for delivery at 1-6 but waited until 7pm and called barking store and I was told I must call Chadwell heath my order was transferred to them. I called them they said is out for delivery but they cant track it. They didn't turn up this morning I called them and they said the hired transport didn't turned yesterday and is . going to be booked for tomorrow but no guarantee for their delivery. I must wait .when I complained about the services the lady I was talking to Abbey just hung the phone and put music onnot booked for today

Served by Amanda and asked her 2 types drilling machines (showed her product code & name)she checked in the store and bring me the wrong one and said that is out of stock. Believe me she wasn?t polite a toll. She shouldn't be behind the till if don?t have any respect for customers.Thank god there?s two young girls working. I?ve asked them and they brought me both drill machines from the storage!! what she said (Amanda) was out of stock ?

Worst experience ever, trying to return a product, staff not helpful at all. Looks like they are instructed to be like that. However one customer less for them. Never again!

Having had such a terrible experience with the staff at the Barking branch, I decided to try the Chadwell Heath branch and I?m so glad I did. Leanne designed my parents kitchen to beautifully and efficiently. She was so warm and kind and ready to help with each and every part. She was friendly and made me feel comfortable. She even apologised for the terrible service at the other branch. A sweet, down to earth soul. Thank you Leanne.

Absolutely useless! Staff just stand around and watch the queues getting bigger without helping. Lady on returns useless. Won?t help! Simple return yet queueing 25 mins with one person in front!Don?t bother. Go somewhere else. Staff are beyond useless!!!!

The worst staff on the planet and worst store. Rather travel further for a better experience. Wickes need to be particular when employing staff as these bunch have been picked and possess no skills whatsoever . Consistently dismal

Visited Wickes yesterday to get drawer handles. None to fit so bought knobs. Couldn't really see them in acres of packing so asked advice. Oh no, staff are instructed not to give advice! A kind man in the queue said he thought they would probably work. Was told could not get my money back if not, so I spent £8 for something that did not fit! The screws were not long enough. I think Wickes have milked the fact that Homebase and Creeds have gone and put up their prices.... and what's with all the plastic and impenetrable cardboard, obscuring what you are buying?! At least Homebase were helpful!

Ordered bathroom on 28th June 2023, every item had either missing or broken parts. It took three attempts to deliver a worktop. One was missed off, one was broken and third was chosen and ordered without my choice or consent. This I have had to chase to this day. Shower tray was sold to me with plinth. When I tried to return was refused and sent from one manager to another. Was first told to speak to manager Lewis. Lewis just emailed didn?t even acknowledge me. Then told me he had emailed Donna?.. she?s the manager and will return my money next day. Donna called then blamed the design salesman Sultan Akbar. I was then told he will call me back, which he didn?t. When I called him he promised to resolve this as I had been missed about. While telling me this, emailed to say ?it?s not his fault and therefore refusing to refund.

Didn?t have what I needed however I found something else, far tidier than Barking branch and more stock,tills were quick.

They advertise kitchens and bathrooms fitted in 10 days by their qualified staff. It's not the case. We have had random Cowboys in our house for over nine months and ended up with an unfinished kitchen a horrible bathroom and many house damages to repair. Such a huge scam!!!!

No point asking the staff anything. Advised to put up a plank of wood in a gap that was easily covered by polly filler which I could also screw into to put a bracket for a kitchen blind.I go along to the front counter to ask for product knowledge "oh I dont know" says the fed up women by the doors.WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SERVING STAFF EVER.
