The film started a whole hour after advertised, the cinema was filled with all the rubbish and popcorn of the previous viewing and it was roasting hot in there - so much so, we left the film midway and asked for a refund - which they agreed to. Won't return again sadly. The sound and visuals however seemed good.

I would rather go to Romford Premier cinema in the Liberty. I only go to Vue if a film's showing there but not at Premier. At the Premier you pay £4,00 and can sit anywhere. At Vue they charge extra depending on where you sit.

I like It.Parking:- If you come by car, follow signs for "Brewery Shopping Centre".- After roundabout, on entry to car park you have the choice to go (1) Left for the outside car park on ground floor; or (2) right side is for upper car parks (or petrol station). I prefer the upper car parks due to less queuing and more choice of car park space and you are already on the first floor (if you are clever).- Automatic car parking payment machines for tickets work well.Facilities of cinema and access:- Cinema is clean and sound good.- The cinema use touch sensitive displays screens where you can order food and cinema tickets.- Facilities have improved slightly since my last review which mean that if food is out of stock you should no longer be able to order it.- Many displays available which help reducing queues.- Freestyle cokes or etc machine is quite annoying and often not responsive: right now, it does no longer provide ice with your drink (again no warning to inform you of this when you order)!!- Great to see the app finally working properly meaning it is easier to show your e-ticket.- Welfare was ok every time I have visited. Girls I am told is ok. Boys is ok but the cubicles (only 2) are often blocked, gross and flushing does not always work. Need attention.- Depending on which screens you are allocated to for your viewing, you may have emergency lights above you, or on your side, which can reduce your positive experience. I don't like having lights in my line of sight (maybe this is only me). These lights should be dimmable.I like this place. Lots of screens, lots of choices of films and therefore good possibility to find a film's time convenient and available to your requirements.Enjoy.

Vue Theatre in Romford falls short of expectations, offering a below-average movie experience. One of the major disappointments lies in the sound quality, which fails to deliver the immersive experience moviegoers expect. As a result, the overall movie experience is compromised. Moreover, the deteriorating condition of the seating, including broken chairs and torn seats, further detracts from the enjoyment of the film. This is not only uncomfortable for viewers but also reflects poorly on the maintenance standards of the establishment. It's imperative that the authorities take note of these issues and take swift action to rectify them. A cinema should be a place of comfort and enjoyment, and Vue Theatre in Romford is currently falling short of providing that experience. With improvements in sound quality and seating conditions, Vue could potentially elevate its status and regain the trust of movie enthusiasts in the area.

Growing up, I?d always come to this vue and I do appreciate the refurbishment in the entrance.Unfortunately, when watching Anyone But You, I noticed mice running around in screen 11 !!!Should have read the reviews beforehand but clearly this mouse infestation is ongoing with the cinema as reviews go back 3 months+ mentioning mice in the theatre. Hopefully they resolve this ASAP.

Best cinema in the area

The 'click and collect' service is ridiculous - you essentially hand the person at the desk your prepaid order and it is made there, as is. Might as well just have a regular till system. The bar was understaffed and poorly trained, my prosecco was dumped into a pint cup which reduced the fizz - but it is the cinema after all, what am I to expect. When we entered our screening, our seats were already covered in popcorn and the 'Cup rests' were pretty much on the floor. Not great, but it's not the staff member's fault that they were so understaffed.

Unfortunately screen was a bit blurry and the VIP seat arm rest was as if it'd been chewed by a dog

I?m glad about the refurbishments compared to other blue cinemas and they are well maintained. I?m glad the prices are low and not as expensive as they used to be years ago, however I feel prices have now gone slightly up again but still good at prices range between £4.99-£6.99 I think. Food is bit pricy but the nachos are worth it and you can choose extra sauces. It?s self service now and not fair on the elderly and staff are too busy serving and preparing the food.

less staff on the counter during busy hours results in longer queue and extensive waiting time.
