Only popped in for a couple of drinks before going for a meal.
Large spacious pub with screens showing the football. It?s a shame because it felt to me that the pub had passed its better days. Slightly dated decor, and tiered looking. That said, the customers and bar person were friendly and polite. Lacking atmosphere though.

Shambles. Booked a table for 9 a month in advance for dinner, and were given a table for 4. When we asked for a larger table, we got moved to a big table but a new group kicked us off as they had that booking. We tried to go back to our table of 4, but that had been taken. Whilst we were waiting at the bar for the staff to sort this mess out, food started to arrive so my group were eating their starters on the side of the bar. Some of the staff were receptive and apologetic, others seemed irritated that we were displeased. Eventually given a 6 seater table but were made to vacate that table after 1 hour to another group. Good bar for small group for drinks but overall extremely disappointed in the waiting service and disorganisation. We were compensated with a round of free drinks, which was appreciated. Would return for causal drinks but wouldn?t bother booking or going for dinner

Spoke to a member of of staff in regards to an online order that was wrong and ask for a refund, he told me that I was able to get a refund and then changed he?s mind and was very rude about it.

This pub has all the right ingredients, but somehow misses the mark. The location is great and the place is clearly popular and busy. There is the usual good range of drinks and the menu is typical of a decent London pub. So what missed the mark? The washrooms were well overdue for servicing. When it finally arrived the food was disappointingly average, but worst of all was the noise level, encouraging customers to yell at each other to communicate. For us the whole experience was quite disappointing.
