They don't even deserve 1 star. Ridiculous customer service and very rude staff. Treating customers like dogs. If you looking to buy something at Sports direct choose another branch! Do not come to Romford!I tried to exchange my clothes today (17/03/2024 11:30-12:00ish) because they were the wrong size, I never wore them, all tags everything was still on it. It was in exactly the same condition as I bought them couple of days ago but had a few cat hair on it. They said I have to take the cat hair off of it and made me stand on the side and I was cleaning it for minutes. The women who was allergic to cat hair was shouting in front of all other customers like I brought something back that was fully dirty and ripped making the entire situation very embarrassing. Then they waned to make me wait for the entire que again just to say they will not exchange it anyway. I bought a roller and went back to take any other cat hair off of it that they can find. They said they are not gonna exchange it anyway. They called the manager who was the only customer orientated and nice staff member there and she exchanged it for me without any issues. This customer service in this branch is the worse I have ever received. You should upgrade the staff to a less embittered, rude, and unhelpful people.

Unbelievable lazy staff. Six staff near tills but only one serving while rest stand around joking and trying on hats and refuse to open another till despite the queue of customers.

not for branch, it general comment. i ordered and paid extra to get them before christmas but they havent send my order and i emailed them to ask ,they said order is with evri , evri said to me items is still with sports direct. they are christmas gift for my family and i couldnt get that before i go abroad for christmas holiday and sports direct made me so mad.

I was trying to order online the yoga ball that I needed for a carehome setting, Unfortunately the purchase wasn?t successful due to some errors. So I decided to go to sports direct store at Romford market. When I arrived the lady guided me to the aisle of the women?s sports stuff but we Couldn?t find any. Then she told me if it?s not here there should be at the counter . I went there and asked the 2 cashier?s duty on that day. I explained that I needed 10pcs . They said no we didn?t got any of them and told me to order online. I explained that i couldn?t get through due to some error. But they said no we don?t have it you need to order it online.So I decided to go upstairs to find other stuff that I need. I didn?t gave up and tried my luck when I finally got someone who is I think the incharge upstairs. So bad I didn?t got his name but I really wanna thank him.The same lady from the cashier pass by and the man said do we have the yoga ball. ? The lady said no we don?t have any , she asked us downstairs as she couldn?t order online. The man then said could u please direct her to the US pro aisle and double check.So me and the lady went to check together. I was really disappointed to the staff at the counter telling me that they don?t have any stock without verifying first in their system or in the inventory etc. they didn?t even made an effort to check it first in the display , and just jump into the conclusion that they don?t have it while actually there is 5 pcs in the display area ???I managed to get 5 thanks to the man upstairs who tried to get someone to check for me.But hopefully the staff before they say something specially if they aren?t sure please double check and verify before push the customer to order somewhere. !

There is a woman in there that is very rude and needs to be sacked she was on the tills today sunday 3/9/23 so rude to me and other customers I will report this to sports direct head office I?ve never come across anything like it before

Large store with many lines and not just the lower end brands that you find in other branches. Friendly staff and clean store.

Went there to check for some cricket gear, was shown where the gear was by a kind lady working there. Later, when I went to ask about wicketkeeping gloves from another lady who worked there she spoke rudely to me. Was served at the til too from that same lady, no greetings at all

Asked to see if 3 pairs of trainers were in stock. All were so good stock. Next to no queue at till. Was clean and well staffed.

Front of shop is all boarded up apart from the door, which looks quite depressing, but operating as normal inside. A bit dark though.....
