One of the worst stores in this chain. Customer service is at level 0. I asked for the fitting room to be opened for me, waited for 15 minutes, and not a single person bothered to approach me, even though there were no lines in the store. The employees seemed to be busy chatting and looked like they were there as a punishment. I do not recommend JD in Romford.

Very unhappy to see that a customer has to wait while the staff is busy in other stuff like talking, tying shoes laces Infront of customer making me us wait for more than 15 minutes and even after that JD staff(Jamail) unprofessional manner.. won't buy from this store again

Disgusting attitude from sour-faced immature staff that wouldn't know what customer service was if it hit them in the face. The manager had the same behaviour, no wonder the other staff are like this. Accused me of wearing an item that was rough when purchased and refused to give me my money. Now I'm stuck with a gift card for a store I NEVER shop at (clearly for good reason). This is very typical of jd staff, hence why I only step into a store once every 5 years for 0.5 seconds

Rude staff, unfortunately the trainers I wanted to spend alot of money on, only had the display ones left in stock, I noticed there were sticky marks round the heel and also a scratch mark, I asked at the till if a discount would be possible. Instead I waited for ten minutes watching the manager trying to remove the marks with what she said was sanitizer, then she was scratching it with her long sharp nails, when I politely asked why are you using your nails to scratch it off, she abruptly replied ITS GLUE, I said oh, and continued to watch her do this for another 5 minutes. I was then told I could have a 5% discount, I asked if I could now have another look at the trainer (once she had finished scratching away at it) she reluctantly handed me the trainer, I politely replied I think I will leave it for now I'd rather pay full price and have a pair that's not damaged and considering I'd just watch her scratch away at it with her nails and rub sanitizer all over it I was a bit put off.The good news is footlocker had them reduced and in stock so got them from there in the end.

Music is way to loud to even thinkThen went to buy a jacket and a girl come over to me and said she would get it delivered to my house, not really sure why they would offer that if I?m already in the store ready to buy it. Didn?t end up buying in the end as she put me off keep asking me.

Can?t think straight. Why is the horrible music pushed up to maximum volume. Might be nice for staff but we have come to spend our money would be nice if we can think straight. I leave empty handed every time because of all the horrible racket clouding my thinking

Went in to buy £85.00 pair of trainers, that's a lot of money to me, but i was happy to pay that. Went to pay at the counter and was told by one of the staff that i needed to wait while they went and got the other trainer from the shelf, when i said, I'm paying £85.00 can i have a brand new pair from the box, the JD staff said, no, you have to have the one off the shelf, i told them I'm gonna go somewhere else to get my trainers, bye bye JD sports, I didn't realise you were a second hand shoe shop at premium prices! ?
