I've always found the staff extremely pleasant and helpful when needed. It can be slow because there are no longer as many staff. Just be thankful that this branch is still open because when it's gone it will be sorely missed especially by so many older folk that need assistance.

Disappointing customer service experience.
My 3 years old daughter and I have been waiting for a while in a queue to be seen by someone .
Somewhat known celebrity walked in and sat next to us and was assisted before us
It?s sad to see how favouritism is practiced in a organisation that should be professional and non discriminatory

Lovely new decor in the branch, but customer service is so appalling. I?ve been going here ever since I was 5 years old and my mum made us sit and wait till she was complete with a cashier. Some thing has changed. I?m sure it has to do with financial pressures but customer service is terrible. No clear signage, no staff who wants to talk to you but walks around looking busy going from room to room. They should have someone near the door to greet people and direct them where to go if one area is cash only and the other is to chat to someone in customer service. The functionality of this branch is on a sad decline.

Been a Bank of mine for a while now, the branch in South Street in Romford Town Centre, staff generally very helpful and positive, there was one whom was pear shaped but we don't see him any more. Probably just as well, persecutive character he was, no thanks.They look after you pretty well are polite and results focused. Smart uniforms and good equipment in the branches.Often queues but you get seen fairly quickly compared with a lot of other banks these days. Great service, mustn't complain. J!

This branch closes earlier than it says, meant to close at 17:00 got there at 16:45 doors were already locked wasted an hour getting there, useless.

Very poor customer service. Had an appointment and no one was there to attend. They said that someone tried to call me several times but that?s a lie as my phone is on 24-7. Avoid this branch. Ladies at the door should retire do some back office work.

Totally recommend it!! Had a problem with the name on my account which happened to be wrong, I tried a couple branches and none helped. A wonderful staff member solved my problem alongside her colleague in less than 10 minutes!!

Disappointing service by store manager. In person, waiting in queue (in front of 5 others). expected person to barge in front of me to front of queue because she had been in earlier. waiting long times in queue but other lady being aggressive meant she was allowed to steam ahead with her complaint. Manager needs some work place confidence skills and whilst this is laking, a ticket system. spoke a staff member here and in Hornchurch, was not listening to a word I said very rude staff, forgot to process my Direct debit which has cause me to be behind in my rent, then blames my council for error. Poor show
