Will at the from desk is always super helpful especially when it comes to explaining issues & providing many options for repairs! Been here 2/3 times and never had any issues at all, the team are amazing. Luke was also a great gentlemen. Would recommend! ?

Took my car in for mot and service. It past. It was cheaper than dealer, even by having air conditioning filled and injection cleaned. Will I go again YES.

Despite being a household name this organisation is useless.Book car for a service to be turned away, booked again 2 days later, dropped the car at 8:30 and told 17:30 earliest for a service for collection because they have no staff, why are you open and take bookings then?Cannot manage diaries, constant excuses about no staff, never reset the service manual/indicators, staff look and sound like they don?t want to be there and overall appalling service.I have a fleet of cars and now, after the latest ordeal, will never use again.If you want a service and car service, would highly recommend anyone else but here.

I had an MOT booked last week but I was unexpectedly in hospital for a few days and had to rebook. I attended my new booking today to met with the rudest most condescending man working there I have ever met in my life. I?ve always had my cars MotD here and never an issue S he told me my booking was at 4pm I said yes it is 4pm he said no it?s 5 past you?ve missed your slot. He was so rude!!! 5 minutes late and you refuse me I wouldn?t mind had been polite!!!!! Never using again

After wasting some time at a Halfords store to get a xenon headlight bulb replaced, I was asked to take my car to an Autocentre. I was lucky to get hold of Will (branch manager) who gave me an appointment quickly. I tried the Chadwell Heath Autocentre, but the manager there did everything possible to show little or no interest, including no appointments for 2 weeks.I just want to say, many thanks to Callum who worked on my car straightaway. He did a brilliant job as the front bumper needed to come off to replace the bulb. It was all done free of charge as part of MC membership. Very happy with the service received. I will be going back there soon to get my tyres replaced.

Would not even give it 1 star. I had a brake check booked and the American guy behind the desk did not even bother asking what I needed. Instead I wasted a hour in that place waiting around for a so called "technician". The staff are rude and dont even have the decency to update you on how long things might take.Absolutely poor customer service and would not recommend to anyone.Horrible place.

They charged me for the job that they haven't done. They charged me extra to change all filters but they have not changed it. They changed the oil engine and added more than standard which is caused an issue now and I have pay £700 to fix it. They are thief. Just don't take your car there

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had during my MOT test at your ROMFORD (087) location, with the booking number A087B057718, conducted on October 16, 2023.Upon completion of my MOT test, I was informed by the receptionist that my test had initially failed due to the need to replace three car lights. What was truly surprising and disappointing was that I was not contacted beforehand to discuss or authorize these changes.As I attempted to make payment for the required services via card, the receptionist refused to accept this method of payment. To my shock, he proposed that if I paid in cash, he would reduce the charge to £70. I explicitly requested an invoice for the work to be conducted, which he confirmed I would receive. My limited time constraints forced me to comply, and I withdrew £80 in cash from the nearest available ATM, as it dispensed only £20 notes.Upon providing the £80 in cash and asking for £10 in change, the receptionist altered his stance, now insisting that the service cost £80, as their till lacked change. In response, I expressed my unwillingness to pay £80 and reiterated my willingness to pay the originally stated amount of £138 via card. However, the receptionist changed his position once again and inquired if I had any change, apart from £20 notes. I confirmed that I had some coins, and he proceeded to accept the coins and £60, making for a total of £68 that I paid. I emphasized the importance of receiving a receipt, to which he assured me that I would receive an e-receipt via email.Upon returning home, I did indeed receive an e-receipt, but it only reflected the MOT charge of £44, which I had already paid online before my appointment. Notably, the £68 I had paid in cash was not mentioned anywhere in the receipt.This entire experience has been deeply troubling, and I am concerned that fraudulent activities may be taking place at this location. I urge you to conduct a thorough review and investigation into the practices at ROMFORD (087) and consider the status of their license.I have reason to believe that the individual who attended to me, whose name was mentioned in the receipt as William, may be involved in exploitative practices, taking advantage of vulnerable customers and potentially causing losses in VAT revenue for the country. My trust in Halfords has been severely shaken by this experience.

I have had booked service and MOT by the leasing company to have it done at this branch.Although the booking was made 1 week in advance, when I arrived at the shop I was told that there is no booking for the car. I have showed them the booking confirmation email and their reply after was that they are short staffed and they cannot do the works on they day.On top of that, they have tried to charge me for the MOT although this was already been paid for alongside the service but they wouldn?t have it.Very unprofessional staff, rude and incompetent which I now see, from the collection of bad reviews, that that is a common occurrence.Stay away from this place, it?s not worth it.I am giving it 1 star because there is no option to give 0 stars.

I'd give it 0 stars if I could. What a bunch of clowns. Completely mis led me about my tyres. Kept telling me that they are run flats when they were not and I had to argue this out with them. They are supposed to be the experts but I had to make them understand that they are not run flats. Then they have a purr scam of a tyre policy which gives you nothing as according to them it doesn't cover you for anything but a basic puncture although it's sold as a tyre insurance. Completely mis sold. Further more the staff here are so rude, it's actually unbelievable. The main manager literally used the f word and swore at me. I made a complaint to the central customer services line and guess what even they have not got back to me till today. Unbelievable, no wonder they got a 3.6 review rating on Google. It should be much lower. Avoid at all costs.Service: Tires
