Very disappointed with the service here. I first took my car in for an A/C diagnosis and was told nothing was wrong. They then went ahead and did an A/C service and re-gas, which I paid for.
Barely two months later, the A/C performance dropped again. When I went back for a major service, I was suddenly advised that the A/C needs to be looked at ? the same issue I already paid to have fixed just 3 months ago!
This feels like I was charged for a quick patch instead of a proper repair. Why should I be paying twice for the same problem? Extremely frustrating and a waste of money. I would not recommend this workshop unless they learn to stand by their work and actually fix issues properly the first time.
When to the link as advised and customer service said I had to pay for everything I did a few months ago again. What is the point, just making more money for quick fix that doesn't fix the issue

Done my MOT here a few times. Very fast service, always done within an hour.

Highly recommend this garage, very good service! Took care of everything very efficiently. Also the staff were friendly and knowledgable, will be visiting again soon for a standard diagnostic. Appreciate the help in up-keeping my vehicles safety. All the best, thank you!

I recently visited Halfords and was assisted by Rob at reception and the rest of the team. They did an amazing job as always! Whenever I come here, I?m never disappointed. The service is friendly, professional, and efficient ? a true example of excellent customer care. Highly recommended!

Got to be the worst garage ever!!have tried to book a simple diagnostic test for 3 weeks now only for it to be cancelled last minute or to turn up at time booked only to be told that my car won't be seen till the end of the day. Please save your time and money and do not come to this unworthy garage

Had all 4 new tyres fitted and wheel balance was so bad, that I went to another garage and paid £60 for rebalancing them. Will never coming back

Wont be using again and the guy you have employed at the front desk shouldn't be a customer facing guy. He is rude in his manner and clearly frustrated about something in life and he should not be interacting with paying customers. He acts like he?s doing you a favour by providing information (way too late and after the fact), that should be provided upfront and then acts like you should have known or somehow he telepathically communicated it - for example you cant leave your car there like any normal MOT garage so cant get there early! Like when he cancels a booking and rebooks, there is refund made for original booking and the rescheduled remains outstanding to be paid for! Have been there twice now to get a simple MOT done and twice its been a wasted 50mins of driving! Put me off Halfords.

I was quoted for a job on my car, the work started then I was rung up and told I would have to pay more for the same job they quoted. Wasn't very happy as the price was a lot dearer than first quoted.

no point having a appointment when you get there you are told leave the car and we will call you when its done it did not say that on the website.I wont be using halfords again.

Very disappointed with Halfords Services those Employees are not experts in doing Car Maintenance just some rubbish people. I took my Cars couple of times for some Services end every Time I was disappointed I took my Mercedes for a Battery Change they couldn't do it, after I took for Engine Oil Change they poured the Oil on the Engine so I had to go back for an Engine Cleaning after I took for a System Diagnostic to wich the Guys scared me that the Car have electrical problems of course this wasn't true I received the confirmation from Mercedes-Benz they calmed me down to not be scared because it's not true and not to take my Car to Halfords or any other Garages they don't have the right tools for kind of Cars .After I took my brend new BMW for MOT they wrote in the MOT history some rubish reasons like my car Engine hood have some difficulties at opening of course this wasn't true for sure just because they should pull-out the latch twice to open the hood the new break pads did some noise that was the second problem wich as well wasn't true I know because the Car recently was at the Main Dealer who did a Service .
Lastly I would mention how rude their employees are!
Definitely I'm not going to bring my Cars anymore to Halfords not even to buy any products from their Shops
Of course their Customer Service is rubish as well I wrote them and bla,bla, bla the same story that ("We are really sorry to hear of your experience with our Romford Autocentre.
Due to the nature of the concerns raised and to enable action and a full investigation to take place, we sent your case to the Centre Manager and Regional Support Manager responsible for this Autocentre. They will be in touch in the next 48 hours to resolve this matter with you and thank you for your patience during this time. ")
And guess what dear Customers the 48 Hours became forgotten no-one Contacted me anymore.

Absoulte joke of a place , car went in with a problem which granted was fixed at ridiculous price as I've just been told by a mechanic having showed them a copy of the reiept they've well over charged me. Car went in with no transmission problems and now picked up the car with transmission problems and then to be told it's not something they deal with !! £500 later my car is in a worst state than it was when I put it into them , staff are rude and mechanics need an attitude check bloke who dealt with my car looked like he couldn't be asked. Extremely disappointed and won't be using this place again, and I will be taking this matter further.

Writing this after speaking to my new non-halfords garage that i found after Halfords tried to fleece me last MOT.
I came in last year, first year having a car and feeling i should go to Halfords because they seemed trustworthy. Came back to pick it up, and in front of a full waiting room i was laughed at by the man behind the desk and humiliated by reading out every single thing on the list. I was also told that i should barely safely drive it home. And quoted £1800 for repairs. I was in such shock and disbelief as it had only had 1 MOT fail in it's 14 history, 10 years ago. Got it checked by a local garage and they only asked for £100 for new lamps.
Had my MOT this year at my local, who were super friendly and helpful, and upon hearing/seeing the halfords MOT apologised on their behalf and assured me the car was absolutely fine. Wouldn't be surprised if this happened because i'm a young woman.
Will not be going back, and will be warning people off this garage as well.
