Came in for dinner and quiz on Monday night and got served by Ethan and his service was excellent. Quiz was a lot of fun too highly recommend for a get together with friends!

The barman on arrival was more interested in chatting to 'a friend's than serving my son. Approx 12.15. My son then went and ordered 2 meals, mine was fish and chips and specifically NO peas. Nobody else in the pub appeared to be eating, yet we waited 45minutes. This was a good time to have a catch up with my son, hence we said nothing, yet he was due at night work in london. The same barman brought our food ( PEAS ON MINE, and asked if we needed condiments, yes please I replied and possibly a little more tartare? That'll be 50p he said. I replied quite calmly as to not embarrass my paying son, that I thought it a little unfair as they were specifically asked no peas (I sometimes have a reaction) well it'll be 50p, he curtly replied. My son said that's fine. I then removed the peas onto my sons plate and proceeded to try to enjoy. The batter was burnt, no tartare ever arrived, but to be honest, there wasnt enough fish inside to warrant it. My son, a growing lad, did eat his as he is working through night in canary wharf until 6am. Very disappointed and dissatisfied ?
