“I love the store and tend to go every week if I can. They update their products frequently and often introduce new merchandise that has been released. The store isn't either small or big and it has large selections for music (vinyls/CDs), DVD series, movies of many different genres and categories, 2 small merchandise sections (one at the entrance and one at the back) action figures + funko pops, and a small section for technology and a bit more. Great service from staff, they are always friendly and the atmosphere is comforting and feels judge free. Highly recommend checking it out”

“I've been a fan of CEX for many years and overall its a good place to buy 2nd hand IT stuff. Whatever you get is covered by a 1-2 year warranty which is great to know. You can also-1)Trade in your old IT stuff and pay the difference in price for stuff they have on sale in the shop, that = cheaper price of the item you want = good news.2)Sell your old IT stuff and get paid or get a voucher to pay for some thing else you need at another point in time.In theory its a good idea but in practice you don't get as much cash or voucher value as CEX sell the same item.CEX sell the same item at roughly double what they pay you in cash/voucher which isn't that good but its better than nothing. It would be nice if CEX gave you 1/2 the price in cash/voucher which they sell the item, CEX's CEO would need to make new rules to do this.------------CEX have an online store, if you see some thing in CEX-Romford you can buy it online and pick it up which saves on postage costs (if you live localy). If you don't live localy then you have to pay a flat postage fee which on lower price items can almost double their total price.......ouch.CEX's website doesn't allow free delivery to CEX-Romford to pick it up which is annoying as we have a store in Romford.CEX's website doesn't allow items at one store to be sent to CEX-Romford thats annoying. But this isn't the fault of CEX-Romford, its down to their CEO to sort this out.------------CEX-Romford is great, they have many IT goods in stock, their staff are friendly, make time to listen and know their stuff so if you talk in "IT tech language" they will understand what you say as well as talking to normal people in normal language. There's one annoying thing, if you get there 10-15 mins before closing time, their staff wont let you in as they want to shut up shop and go home at closing time.------------As an IT store I recommend CEX and CEX-Romford, I trust them and the goods they sell, their prices are honest and reasonable.Unlike other similar shops in Romford who sell over priced IT goods, CEX won't rip you off or over price goods you buy from them (thats what I've found over the years).Prices of the items are the same if you got them in CEX-Aberdeen-Scotland down to CEX-Brighton-England etc and thats nice to know.Yes CEX have a few problems but no one's perfect, we are all human.”

“After being told at the Stratford branch in Westfield that my daughters iPad was not fixable I decided to book an appointment at Select in Romford and thank goodness I did. Bepko the shop assistant in Romford was very helpful and willing to see if he could fix the iPad compared to the guy in Stratford who just took one look at the iPad, said it was broken and then tried to sell me another iPad. Bepko ran all the tests and managed to remove the bit of metal that was stuck in the charger port. He was very patient and persistent. I would definitely recommend the Romford branch the service is very good.”
