Disappointing Experience at Clarks Romford
I recently visited the Clarks store in Romford, located in the Liberty Shopping Centre, to purchase shoes for my daughter. According to their website, the store?s closing time is 6:00 PM from Tuesday to Saturday .
I arrived at 5:51 PM, well before the stated closing time, only to find the doors already closed. Staff members were inside, engaged in conversation, and did not acknowledge my attempts to communicate. Eventually, one staff member approached and mentioned she needed to tidy up. Another then informed me that her till would close in three minutes, at 5:55 PM. I explained that I knew exactly what I needed and that the purchase would take no more than a couple of minutes, but they still refused to let me in.
This experience was incredibly frustrating, especially after making an effort to arrive before closing. If the store intends to stop serving customers before the stated hours, they should update their official closing time to reflect that. This lack of consideration has made me reconsider shopping at Clarks in the future.

Bought school shoes in September, had them for 3 months but inside the shoes they were falling apart. Never had that happen with school shoes before as ive been buying Clarks school shoes for years.Took the shoes back to Clarks, obviously I didn't have a receipt anymore. Spoke to Romford store manager Vanessa who managed to find online my purchase and looked at the faulty shoes and agreed that they shouldn't have broken the way they did. She made this issue seamless by switching the shoes to a new pair and giving me a new receipt incase these shoes did the same. Most shops cause such an issue and make it stressful but Vanessa didn't, she was professional,helpful and kind. As usual top service from Clarks which is why I'll always buy shoes from them.

I recently ordered a pair of shoes from Clark and was extremely disappointed with my experience. I received the wrong size, which is frustrating after eagerly waiting for my order. The mix-up has not only caused inconvenience but also disrupted my plans. I expected better quality control from a reputable brand. I hope to see improvements in their order fulfillment process in the future.
This kind of mistake is unacceptable. I?m very disappointed and won?t recommend them to anyone. Won't buy again!!!

A massive thank you to Jameelah at Romford Clarks, who measured my feet and assisted me in purchasing my first pair of boots. She was very helpful and extremely patient as I tried on a few pairs in a couple of different sizes.
