Spelling errors twice with engraving, so I gave up. Wouldn't recommend going here. I won't be a customer again if I can help it.

Couldn't finish my sentence explaining what I needed doing (strap replacement on a binocular case) before being rudely told they don't do it, even though I'd taken it there for repair before. Shoddy customer service, would look elsewhere.

I took a pair of expensive shoes in for their first reheeling. The result was poor with new big gaps between the new heel coverings and the leather and a new scuff on the leather of one heel. Having not taken photos of the shoes beforehand I could not effectively dispute the operatives denial of the scuff. The heel work was redone with a reasonable outcome but I am wary of using this branch again.

Easily the worst customer experience I have ever had from any service provider.
The Manager here broke my watch as confirmed by his colleague and the manager denied everything.
Aweful and rude attitude which I see has been reflected in other reviews.
How he is still here is very questionable.
Luckily, Customer Services refunded me after I shared my detailed complaint but I will definitely never return to this Timpson.
Andrew at the Sainsbury's Richmond Timpson, however, does provide an exceptional friendly service.

Very disappointing service. Brand new expensive leather shoes taken in to have rubber soles put on for protection. They came out looking absolutely dreadful, unmatching sole and heels, brown stain everywhere, absolutely no care and attention put in to the work and £50 charged! When I queried what a mess they looked I got an unpleasant response of ?no one sees the underside anyway?. Terrible service and no care taken at all, would NOT recommend!

I am only giving 2 stars because the girl at the Stockton branch is brilliant!
I went to Timpsons to get some shoes repaired. Girl, glue them, told me not much can be done. Didn't charge me. Brilliant service!
Came back 2 days later to copy some keys. I asked if I could go to another branch if they didn't work as the keys are for a flat in London. She said no problem. Keys are super expensive these days!!
Came back to London, one of the keys doesn't work.
Went to the Richmond-on-Thames branch. AVOID!!! Angelo was super rude! He not only got the apprentice to do the new key, he also gave him no help or advice, he was rude to him and ME! He kept asking: What do you want? I keep telling him that the key done in Stockton doesn't work, and I think this one is the original key. He SHOUTING told me: THERE ARE NO ORIGINAL KEYS! THEY ARE ALL COPIES!!! WHEN PEOPLE WILL LEARN!! (wtf). Apprentice does the key, I leave as quickly as I can while promising never to come back! The key still doesn't work!!!
2 days later, I am in Egham, I see a Timpsons and see they do dry cleaning. I have some dry cleaning to be done, and the shop is locked. There is a sign with a clock, it says: Back at 1:50, I check my watch, it is 14:15... I walk that street, buy stuff in the street market, and see the man unlocking the shop. Finish my shopping, go to Timpsons, and again locked! I see the sign, now it says back 15:30, it is already 15:45! A man of similar characteristics of the one I saw getting into shop and unlocking the door is next to the shop, viping... I look at him, he looks the other way, I leave never to come back.
I'm so sorry to say that 2 out of the 3 shops I visited in less than a week have AWFUL customer service!!!
2 stars just because the girl in the Stockton-on-Tees branch is awesome.

This review is for Angelo at Timpsons Sheen Rd!!! I can?t review this place high enough! Not only have I had multiple impressive repairs here on my favourite shoes, the staff are all always sweet and happy to help. SPECIFICALLY the LEGEND and top G Angelo, who came in early Monday morning so that I could pick up my shoes at opening and be on my way to the airport. I desperately needed these shoes that I wear every day (hence the need for a serious repair!) and had left it til the last minute, coming in on a Sunday to see if I could get a same day service. However, the machines had just been painted and so no one could use them for the next several hours. Angelo, who correctly and hilariously told me he was ?my only hope?, agreed that he would be in the shop early to finish by shoes by 8:30 IN THE MORNING in time for me to pick them up and make my flight. Customer service like this just doesn?t exist in this day and age, and with dudes like Angelo just going to extra mile for a complete stranger, I can?t help but feel not only extremely satisfied as a customer, but also heart warmed as a human being. Not to mention, my shoes look brand new and I?ll feel like a new woman hitting the streets in those! Thank you Angelo, Thank you Timpsons, and someone give this man a raise!

I came here as Timpson was recommended to me. I wanted a back garden gate key cut. I was charged £11. The key did not work. I went to Hampton (Sainsburys) and told them. The young woman there cut me a key double the size which wouldn't even fit in the key hole. I then went back to this original store. The gentleman serving was surprised my key didn't work. He cut me a new one and I had a different key cut (which works in the other door with a little persuasion, cost £10). I tried the new one and guess what? It worked twice after wrestling with it in the keyhole. After that, I gave up. It seems this is a key that Timpson cannot cut. I won't be using or recommending this service again. I lived in Asia for a number of years where I would pay around £1.50 for key cutting and all the keys/ locks worked first time, no problem. Go figure.

Poor customer service to the extreme! I?ve been charged as ?premium service? for replacing the soles of a pair of boots (more than the cost of a new pair) and have been offered an extremely poor service: cheap quality soles, poor craftwork, cracked all around. After 2 attempts to sort out the matter, Customer Service accepted my request for a full refund. An extreme example of rudeness and lack of professional skills from the shop manager!

Richmond Timpsons sorted out a new battery for my car key today. I couldn't get the key to open after half an hours effort. Their team sorted it for me - with a smile! Great service. Thank you. Was thinking I'd need to spend £100's on a new key. But they saved the day.

Such a bad and stressful experience,
Older Italian manager of the store extremely rude and unprofessional, I got my key cut and the key did not work. There was a lady just behind me who came back with the same issue! Save yourself time and go elsewhere! I can understand that this can happen, but how he dealt with the situation was extremely rude!
