It was such a delight to experience the festive afternoon tea here at The Petersham. The staff and service were excellent and were attentive, the atmosphere was great, I especially loved the magical Snow effect. It was nice to eat delicious food with a lovely view. I highly recommend!

All three courses were fine, the coffee was awful unfortunately. I found a hair on the back my Dover sole, they apologised and gave me another main course and only charged me 2 courses in the end which was responsible of them. Overall I?d say the experience was a 7 out of 10

We booked for the Festive lunch. From the start to finish this was a wonderful afternoon. A beautiful room with a spectacular view (we were so pleased to have a table by the window). The welcome and service throughout was excellent and the meal truly outstanding (my wife commented the steak was the best she had ever had). All this and a visit from Santa made for a very special day.

Very underwhelming afternoon tea experience. Sandwiches, scones and sweets were all very mediocre at best and some were not edible. Would not recommend, especially for the price.

When it comes to dining, Petersham Hotel does not disappoint. The ground floor restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its impeccable interior design and panoramic views of the river. the exceptional service provided by Mr. Umit Eruyar, the manager of the restaurant. His attentiveness and professionalism truly enhanced our dining experience. I had the pleasure of indulging in their breakfast menu, which included a classic English breakfast and perfectly crafted Eggs Benedict. For Father's Day, we were treated to an exceptional dinner. The Minted Lamb Croquette and Crispy Duck Salad were delightful starters, followed by the delectable Chicken Supreme and Pan-Fried Sea Trout as our main courses. To end the meal on a sweet note, I opted for the heavenly Apple Pie. Highly recommend this restaurant nick

Loved this place. Relaxed afternoon tea. All very tasty and too much to eat in one go so some of the amazingly delicious cakes taken home. First class scones and a plentiful supply of clotted cream. Idyllic views over the Thames.

For over 20 years it has been a tradition for our family to have lunch at The Petersham Hotel restaurant to celebrate my Mothers birthday (97 this year!). The setting is fabulous, the food excellent and on a beautiful summers day it is the perfect place for a celebration.
Alas, not so anymore. I can forgive them for the challenge of working through a power cut, but not for the appalling service, not due to a lack of staff, but due to the fact that they just stood around talking instead of doing their job and waiting tables. We had to ask, for bread, a wine list and then to order the wine, my daughter cleared the plates because the staff were too engrossed in conversation. Due to the power cut the food we had preordered was not available. The maitr?d decided at 15.30 it was time for him to go home and we were told that there was no deserts! The worst of it all, the restaurant was not even half full! We had two courses that took over two hours!
How sad that I am writing this review following many years of happy memories.
