First time visiting and it won't be the last. Had a great Sunday roast with friends and it was delicious, especially the cauliflower cheese!
Great atmosphere and really nice and clean with a cute courtyard at the back to enjoy post dinner cocktails! Would highly recommend

Cosy e personal. Nice calm pub for chat. I could for sure come alone and enjoy the nice environment to ready a book and have something to eat.

Quite how this establishment has a 4+ star rating is beyond me. Several of the items on the menu were unavailable, but we weren?t told this until some time after placing our order. The staff weren?t simply inattentive, they were almost invisible. The food was bland and poorly prepared: overdressed Caesar salad; undressed avocado and mango salad with chunks of frozen mango; unseasoned fish and chips with no condiments provided on the table. I really can?t think of anything positive to say. Such a disappointment, given that it was a celebratory lunch.

Trendy Spot with Great Drinks & Atmosphere
The Botanist is a vibrant and stylish place?perfect if you?re looking for creative cocktails and a lively atmosphere. The decor is modern with lots of greenery, which makes it feel fresh and inviting. The cocktail menu is impressive, with unique concoctions that taste as good as they look. Food-wise, it?s solid pub fare with a bit of a twist; the sharing boards and small plates are great for groups. It can get pretty busy and noisy, especially on weekends, so not the best for quiet conversations, but great for a fun night out. Service is generally good, though sometimes a bit slow when packed. Overall, a reliable spot for drinks and casual dining with friends.

I went in to The Botanist for a bite to eat and a pint. Shaun served me and he recommended me the lamp rump. It was delicious and I was very thankful for his recommendation. I cannot recommend the botanist highly enough and I cannot wait to return.

Lovely pub! We went for the Wednesday quiz and the host Maria was super lovely and made the quiz loads of fun!! Food and drinks were great and it's a very pretty and well kept pub.

Had a lovely meal here after a morning at Kew Gardens, great service from a very friendly and attentive team! The non-alcoholic drinks were particularly delicious, very summery and refreshing.
