Ruined £200 silk dress.
I brought in a £200 silk dress to be taken in at the bust. Instead, they over-tightened the waist, left the bust area untouched, and completely ruined the zip?leaving the dress misshaped and unwearable (see photo).
Worse than the poor work was the treatment. The tailor was aggressive, made inappropriate comments, and got visibly angry when I asked for the agreed work to be done properly. I left feeling shaken and humiliated.
When I complained, they offered me a store voucher?as if I?d ever go back to a place that treated me like this.
This was not just a bad service?it was abusive and deeply unprofessional. Save yourself the stress and money.

Excellent repair service on a wool sweater; Hossein perfectly matched the thread colour and repaired a hole in the elbow so it?s completely unnoticeable! Sabita was very friendly and helpful with the options available!

Hossein did a fantastic job taking in an expensive dress by two sizes! So good I?ve brought back two more dresses, a coat and a pair of trousers all to be altered. So great to have someone so good locally.

My girlfriend had a horrible experience here. Whilst Adriana was nice as per other reviews, Hossein was pushy, rude, unpleasant and upon discovering she was eligible for a discount - added on arbitrary costs to push up the price. Ultimately he also did an atrocious job on her expensive dress, which will be difficult to get fixed elsewhere. I would suggest finding an alternative tailor.

Booked this location on LuggageHero to store my bags for a day visiting Kew Gardens before heading to Heathrow tonight. Chose here because they advertise as being open on a Sunday in the LuggageHero site and some of the other sites are closed Sunday. Perfect. Dragged my stuff across London and turned up only to find the location CLOSED! Not contactable via WhatsApp (I?m from overseas and don?t have the ability to do a regular phone call). Really annoyed and upset that I now can?t visit the gardens as I wished because this business doesn?t show accurate information on their LuggageHero page.

I had some issues with the service but a lovely lady called Adriana (hope I spelt that right) dealt with it so well that I will definitely use this service again. She was professional, friendly and helpful and deserves a promotion in my opinion. Thank you Adriana!

I highly recommend Hossein at the American Dry Cleaners. He is a fantastic tailor and I am always delighted when I get alterations back. The team are wonderful, and have accommodated fast turn-around times for me in the past. No request seems to be a bother! The loyalty scheme is great value too.
