During our visit in the summer, the option on the menu we decided to go for was regrettably sold out, which was really disappointing .Unfortunately, as we preferred to enjoy the scenery from outside rather than inside, the staff did have difficulty getting the heating to work which made the experience a little unpleasant. The cocktails were amazing, and the service was good.

A lovely spot for brunch in Richmond! ? Peggy Jean is a restored former Jesus College Oxford barge, just on the richmond riverside, on the river thames ? we ordered sweetcorn fritters and dirty daisy, which were recommended by the waiter ?

Lovely place but the service was below acceptable, we nearly walked out after waiting half an hour and served wrong dish twice.

Beautiful place to eat on a sunny day overlooking the river and Richmond Bridge. Service was quick, food was lovely and plentiful (we had the avocado on charcoal toast with added eggs), coffee and fresh fruit juices were perfect. Overhead heaters keep the outdoor seating area nicely warmed. We'll definitely return if we're ever in the area again.

Another perfect summer evening on the Peggy Jean. Tasty Tapas, wine along with excellent hosting by Alicia & Elliot - thank you guys. My only comment re: the menu - I?m not a dessert lover and there is no cheese option! We don?t all love Tiramisu or Cheesecake (it?s been done to death!) Aside from this - it?s fabulous and I?m back this weekend!

Very disappointing evening meal on
Saturday 14/9/24.
Cannot fault the setting. Food such a disappointment. Starters came very quickly and were lukewarm. I would guess they had been sitting around. We then waited over half an hour for main course. Waiter did apologise. When mine arrived (monkfish) it looked like a sloppy mess on the plate. Didn?t taste much better. Dessert was mars bar cheesecake? very strange concoction.
Our table was booked for 6.30. At 7 pm it was getting chilly and we asked for heaters to be put on. Waiter said NO! They don?t go on for another hour. Should have left then tbh.
Would not go back

The boat itself is stunning, and the ambiance is lovely. However, the service was extremely slow, which took away from the overall experience. That said, the staff were friendly and pleasant. The food was decent, but nothing particularly memorable.

(4.5/5) Nice food and atmosphere. The food tastes good, but the portions could be bigger for the price. They can also customize dishes based on your preferences, like making it vegan by replacing eggs with halloumi. However, booking can be difficult. If you can't book online using your card, it's hard to reach them by phone. I tried calling several times over a few days, but they didn?t answer. The staff were cooperative and very nice. I would rate overall.

Beautiful location! Food was nice, unfortunately the vegetarian option wasn't available the day I dined there. So had to opt for a fish dish.
Highly recommend for drinks though ?? staff are lovely and attentive

Lovely pretty Barge with wonderful views. Service was attentive but not over intrusive. The food was good but not memorable. Overall a lovely experience.
