Food excellent but service could have smiled and seemed engaged.

The pastries are always good but services isn?t great. The lady on the counter was overwhelmed and kept getting the order wrong. I asked for an iced latte and she gave me a regular latte and when I said that that wasn?t what I ordered she told me that I was wrong. Any ways I don?t think it was her fault, but having just one person to do everything is not great for service.

Great place to pop into for a coffee and pastry.

I tried the pistachio cake from Paul?s Cake Shop, it?s delicious! The cake is super moist, with a perfect balance of nutty flavor and just the right amount of sweetness.

Great food and service. We used the bathrooms too, which I think could do with regular cleaning and perhaps a bit of a refurbishment.

PAUL Richmond is part of the historic French bakery-café chain founded in 1889 in Lille, France, known for preserving time-honoured recipes passed down through generations. Since arriving in London in 2000, PAUL has brought authentic French boulangerie and patisserie to neighbourhoods across the city ? including this warmly welcomed outpost in Richmond.
Located at 13 The Quadrant near the station, the café offers a classic Parisian feel with its inviting interior, freshly baked goods, and reliable coffee. I only popped in for a takeaway, but the coffee was good and the atmosphere inside looked cosy and pleasant ? perfect for a relaxed catch-up or quiet afternoon break.
I?d rate it a 4 out of 5 ? a charming, dependable spot that blends traditional French craft with everyday café ease.

The staff, I believe her name is Giulia, was quite unpleasant and unprofessional.

The food is brilliant and deserving of 5 stars. But the coffee is terrible, it?s tasteless. Perhaps I got unlucky twice.

Had a big vanilla macaroon a bit on the chewy side but was still nice.
I wish they had a better fresh drinks selection (new frappes I think they didn't have in stock yet)
The cakes are very lightweight. Nice selection on the pastries.

The baguettes at Paul's are getting smaller and smaller. Shrinkflation.
Gail's baguettes are £2.80 (30p more) but much bigger.
Tell head office. It would be a shame if I had to stop buying baguettes at Paul's.
