Wonderful hotel and pub. Great location. We stayed here the last couple nights of our vacation because of the Ted Lasso thing and also close to Heathrow for the trip home. Great area!
Nearby activities: If you are a Ted Lasso fan you?ll want to stay here a couple days.
Safety: Always felt safe out on the streets even at night.
Walkability: Great area to walk.
Food and drinks: Pubs with great food. Waitrose grocery store is a five minute walk. The nicest grocery store I?ve ever been in.

We stayed at the hotel a couple of weeks ago. The staff were incredible and the rooms were lovely and characteristic. Unfortunately there was no hot water on the night we stayed (due to a leak which was outside of the control of the hotel), but they stepped up and covered breakfast as a result for multiple members of our family who weren't even staying at the hotel - we were delighted with this. This hotel is the perfect example of putting their guests first and we cannot be more thankful for how they treated us during our stay.
Side note, we do live locally and can say that this is a brilliant pub as well - lively on match days, warming on non-match days and also a great location to work remotely with good WiFi on the weekdays. All around worldie.

A gem of a hotel and pub! The staff was amazing, like meeting up with old friends. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and you can't beat the location for a trip to Richmond.

Clean, modern rooms that were absolutely spotless. Sky TV & high quality toiletries provided, reasonably priced minbar in room.
Food is superb, breakfast included in room price. All cooked to perfection & to a very high standard.
Staff were all very friendly & could not have been more helpful. Will be visiting again.

A real pleasure staying here. Wonderful, friendly and flexible staff.
My flight was delayed and I arrived at 1am. A staff member stayed very late just to assist my check in.
My room was extremely well appointed and comfortable. The pub below offered a great breakfast, available very early and the staff again were perfect. I?d stay again in a heartbeat.

Food and drinks: Great food in the restaurant and a delicious breakfast too!
Noteworthy details: Great staff, especially Ethan who was cheery and helpful even at the end of a double Saturday night shift. 2 minutes walk from the station.

Lovely room in a lovely pub. Even though our room was at the front of the building overlooking the road the noise wasn?t too bad. Couldn?t fault the staff, so friendly and helpful, especially Bertie the dog.

We had a wonderful stay at the Orange Tree. We enjoyed the atmosphere that was friendly and open. We especially appreciated the very clean rooms -thanks Janet! The manager Kyle went above and beyond every day, providing us with tasty breakfasts and a ready smile. Such a nice welcome. Thank you everyone at the Orange Tree.

We absolutely love the Orange Tree! We stay here on every trip to London and have a fantastic experience every time. The rooms are all super (we like to upgrade to the bigger ones) with comfortable beds. The staff are all welcoming and friendly (especially in the pub) and we love the location in Richmond! I stayed here for an evening with my other half in the Feature Boutique room while I come to London to watch The Lion King for my birthday suprise. The room had the freestanding bathtub which was a real nice addition, the bed was super cozy. Kyle and the team went up and above my expectations for a hotel and made it feel almost like home, very accommodating to say the least. The breakfast was outstanding. I would recommend anybody visiting London to stay here (Train station bang opposite), the price is just right and the service is exceptional ?

I had a lovely experience at the Orange Tree hotel! I made a last minute reservation here after a flight cancellation and the service and accommodation at the hotel exceeded all expectations. Everyone was so kind and attentive. The rooms were also stunning. Cannot wait to one day return!

This is a really nice gastro-pub with lovely rooms. It's right next to Richmond Station, and only a short walk to Kew Gardens. The rooms are lovely, and clean, and the staff were great. Also a great breakfast.
