Very unhelpful couldn't transfer money from my account to a different bank account even though I had passport bank statements and I was verified by the the cashier didn't want to even phone the other branch to confirm that I could do a transfer it was like talking to the bank of Liz truss banks need to help people PS I've been with nationwide for over 30 years very disappointed I cannot rely upon this building society

Richmond branch- The check machine is BROKEN sucked in my £500 cash. with giving no receipt.The staff opened the machine but couldn?t see my money!they said they would call me the following day when they were able to look in to that machine over night ..I did get a call and the money in my account 24-48 hours later, this was of course very stressfulI advise not to use the machine as others have experienced issues.

Cheque machine always broken! This branch is incredibly old fashioned and slow. The staff seem to be friendly - always happy to have a good old chat with the OAP clients - however you need to be prepared for a 20-30 minute wait to do anything at the counter, no matter how small or quick it would normally be at another branch. I try to avoid this branch whenever I can.
