I went to this Nando?s Richmond on Friday 14/03/25 to pick up chicken meal for my son, I ordered for take away, by the time I have finished ordering and sat down waiting for my order, less than 5 minutes later the guy said your order is ready, I said that?s very quick as normally will take longer to cook the chicken, but he said, no the chicken already cooked, I didn?t take much attention of that but then I noticed while he?s packing the box that it?s written the wrong flavour on it, so I said I didn?t take much notice order that, it?s the wrong order, he quickly went to the guy on the grill and told him something and came back with the right one I ordered, I was surprised to the speed of the order, by the time I got home and opened the chicken box, I can see the chicken looks old and very dry, very obvious the chicken they served me, they cooked it hours ago and they just warmed it and put it inside the box, I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager explaining what?s happened, there was no apology or sorry we served you food not up to standards, instead he insisted that the food is fresh, and if I want to complain I should go to the website to write a complaint, which I did, they food went to the bin as it can cause food poisoning, such a bad experience with this restaurant in Richmond,
Avoid this Richmond restaurant, they serve bad, their customers service very bad from the management to the rest of the staff, they don?t care what kind of food they serve customers,

I?m disappointed to be writing this review, but I feel it?s necessary. This is my local Nando?s, and I?ve never had major complaints?until now.
About 10 days ago, I ordered two meals for dinner. A few hours after eating, I began experiencing severe symptoms of food poisoning, which lasted into the next day. I was so unwell that I had to take a day off work. Given that I hadn?t really eaten much else that day, it was clear that the Nando?s was the cause.
I called the restaurant to report what happened, and they assured me that a manager would get back to me the next day. That never happened. After waiting a few days, I followed up, only to be told the same thing. A week passed with no response, so I called again and finally spoke to the manager, who took note of my experience and once again promised to call back. Still, nothing.
After yet another follow-up, I was met with dismissive and unprofessional responses. The supervisor even kept telling me to ?relax,? showing zero customer service skills or empathy. When I finally got the manager on the phone, he just kept repeating that I should call back tomorrow.
The way this situation has been handled is unacceptable. Instead of addressing a serious concern, they seem to be hoping I?ll forget about it. Extremely disappointed with their lack of accountability and poor customer service.

It?s your basic food chain restaurant. Food comes out super quick. Not the cleanest place because they are so busy I guess.

would put 0 stars if i could. Ordered a platter and only 40 minutes after ordering (with only 6 other tables in the restaurant) we were told they were out of the chicken we ordered. Staff came back to us with excuse of NYE but as paying customers this is atrocious and to make us wait 40 minutes before telling us is absolutely ridiculous. Awful service. Will not come back

Lovely time out with friends. Service was absolutely incredible, only mentioning by name due to such incredible nature, Ollie was lovely all evening, cracking good jokes and making us feel so welcome. He deserves the world.
