Iâ??ve just been into this store to buy a car seat for my one year old. I went to the till and waited in front of a member of staff who was on the phone. She put down the phone and walked straight past me to serve another customer. So I walked to the middle of the store and asked another shop assistant for help and she said â??Iâ??m not trained on car seatsâ?? so I asked her if anyone in store was trained on them and she said she didnâ??t know. Weâ??re on our way to Halfords... theyâ??ll likely be trained and will probably fit it too!

I bought a baby car seat for my one year old son from mothercare after telephoning mothercare Richmond.
As mothercare Richmond did not have the car seat in stock I ordered it online from mothercare.
I then asked mothercare Richmond to check that I had correctly installed the baby car seat. They refused to help me.
I think that this is disgraceful behaviour which puts the safety of my son at risk as apparently most car seats are not correctly installed.
Further, I think that mothercare is misleading customers by stating on its website that it helps install its car seats.
I am most disappointed.

I orderd my pram!
I had a great help from the staff, he did took his time but as long as he done everything right then thatâ??s fine
Order pram yesterday at the store, and I had to go collect it at the store!
But when I open it there is 2 things missing!
I am abouslouty furring!
Canâ??t wait till I get on the phone to them!!!!ð?¤¬ð?¤¬

I am surprised with all bad experiences, i always come to this Mothercare store and always great experience , Nike was very helpful and she helped me carry my things to the car park. Rest of the staff was great as well helped me chose baby mattress

After speaking to a member of staff on the phone who explained to me that I could return some unused items - that were still in same condition as when i bought them ( I didnt have the receipt as these were bought as a gift 2 months ago) she told me that they would be exchanged or refunded at the retail price those items would be now.
However when I entered mothercare it was not the case and was told that there is nothing they could do as the policy had changed yesterday! Jan 1st
After speaking to mothercare customer services, they had told us some stores do and some dont and that it was down to managers discretion- which I understand but I find it quite sad and dissapointing considering we have spent alot of money in this store and those pricey items could not of been swapped for a larger size due to the fact of having 10.6lbs baby two weeks ago.
