“Stayed with a group of friends while hiking. Comfortable rooms, great home cooked food and an excellent breakfast. Hosts went above and beyond for us even providing a lift to the station.”

“Stayed one night. Such a lovely peaceful place. Our room was a good size bright and had everything required for our stay. Loved the ceiling fan which kept us cool on one of the hottest days of the year.located in a nice street a short walk from the town centre. The hotel had a lovely outside space and a very good English breakfast amongst other choices. TOP Tip: breakfast is best ordered the night before parking to rear of hotel as street spaces are limited”

“Reasonable prices. Lovely food - highly recommend the Sunday lunch and jam roly poly. Only downside was the large number of flies buzzing around inside where we were sat.”

“Called in for lunch having seen the pub whilst travelling. A dog friendly place and delightful host, unfortunately I didn't get her name, although she was a brunette with a wonder manner and customer service skills. The lunch menu had something for everyone, I definitely recommend The Punch Bowl Inn and I will certainly return myself ?”

The Landlord definitely goes above and beyond, mentioned that I liked Jaffa Cake Gin and it was kindly ordered plus offered us a lift home when it was raining. “A friendly, welcoming pub. Superb food -- try the giant Yorkshire pudding! We've visited every time we come to this part of the country and it has never disappointed. The sunsets from the back of the pub are breathtaking!”

“Can only review the food. Has only dined there. Black and blue burger was amazing. Sautéed mushrooms with blue cheese topped on two smashed patties with were so flavoursome. Husband’s Parmo was okay. Asked for peas instead of salad and as the picture the portion was tiny.”

“Arrived early but parked up and booked a table by the window for dinner. Came down for dinner and found we had another table. Staff who we booked with weren't on duty so we didn't complain.”

“Walk in for tea without booking was greated and seated with a warm welcome average price and I can't complain about the food it was delicious and was not waiting long for it to . Didn't give a star rating as we didn't stay in the hotel.”

“Stopped at the services to have a pee and something to eat and drink. There are plenty of areas all around to get by something to eat, also Greggs, Westcounty outside to take your pick from.”

“For the price and location this place was great. In downtown Richmond, close to the train station. The room was small, but very clean. The bed was comfortable and a good size for two people. The air conditioning was not too loud. We would definitely stay here again.”
