“Wonderful hotel and pub. Great location. We stayed here the last couple nights of our vacation because of the Ted Lasso thing and also close to Heathrow for the trip home. Great area!

Safety: Always felt safe out on the streets even at night.

Walkability: Great area to walk.

Food and drinks: Pubs with great food. Waitrose grocery store is a five minute walk. The nicest grocery store I’ve ever been in.”

“Stayed one night. Such a lovely peaceful place. Our room was a good size bright and had everything required for our stay. Loved the ceiling fan which kept us cool on one of the hottest days of the year.located in a nice street a short walk from the town centre. The hotel had a lovely outside space and a very good English breakfast amongst other choices. TOP Tip: breakfast is best ordered the night before parking to rear of hotel as street spaces are limited”

“Reasonable prices. Lovely food - highly recommend the Sunday lunch and jam roly poly. Only downside was the large number of flies buzzing around inside where we were sat.”

“I would echo a few of the other reviews on here in that the food is amazing, but the service is odd. Had booked prior and was shown to a lovely table and they took a drinks order , but that seemed to take a long time after ordering. Lack of staff available I think . Took a long time to order food also. Lots of different staff serving us also. I would sit everyone less spread out also and maybe sit us a bit nearer if a quiet day. It almost feels like you just get forgotten about .”

“Arrived early but parked up and booked a table by the window for dinner. Came down for dinner and found we had another table. Staff who we booked with weren't on duty so we didn't complain.”

“Walk in for tea without booking was greated and seated with a warm welcome average price and I can't complain about the food it was delicious and was not waiting long for it to . Didn't give a star rating as we didn't stay in the hotel.”

“Stopped at the services to have a pee and something to eat and drink. There are plenty of areas all around to get by something to eat, also Greggs, Westcounty outside to take your pick from.”

“For the price and location this place was great. In downtown Richmond, close to the train station. The room was small, but very clean. The bed was comfortable and a good size for two people. The air conditioning was not too loud. We would definitely stay here again.”
