Excited about getting membership as a present, I took the email my son had printed out for me down to the cinema.Queued at one of the desks only to be told to go to the other desk. Queued at the other desk only to be told I needed to go online. Went online really unhelpful website won?t even allow you to store your membership in your wallet! now less excited? institutionally not customer friendly.

We booked to see Wicked at Curzon Richmond, and noticed during the previews that the sound was off. Given this film was the movie musical experience of the year, I was really looking forward to it.
Five minutes into the film, I realised the sound was entirely in MONO (!!!) and sounded like we were listening to the music through a tin can. No low end, no clarity, just muddled mid-range. My partner and I left and went to the front, to let the staff know there might be something wrong with the sound system. The staff were aware that there was a sound issue, and they informed us that it had been broken for weeks and only one speaker was working. We demanded a refund (which we were given), and I let them know I was appalled that a theatre would continue to sell tickets to the public knowing there was an ongoing issue like this.
Obviously not the staff's fault, however any management should be absolutely ASHAMED, and should fix this problem immediately. Never coming to a Curzon again.

Sorry, but this is NOT it at all. I paid £37 for two seats to watch Wicked here and the experience is so overpriced. Screen is small and I think it?s only HD? No 4K, no HDR or Dolby Vision, fair enough if at least the sound system would be at least cope - during a musical, not asking for too much.
Muffled, horrible base, very low sound (I had to ask them to raise the volume as I couldn?t believe I could hear people eating their pop corns two rows down..) they did, in fact, raise the volume but this had no impact. I?m not expecting Dolby Atmos but I?m also not expecting the speaker to sound like an old car sound system that can?t cope. Horrible. I know how movies should sound, this was a joke. I hope other people that visit, realise, how much better movie should sound and look.
We have a decent sound system and 4K TV at home (a mini cinema setup) and comfy sofa, why would I need to spend £37 again to get a much worse experience? Wicked is an amazing movie, but unfortunately I didn?t fully enjoy it knowing this movie would sound and look so much better at home. I felt like we stepped back in time to 2004 (tbh I think even then, cinema had upgraded to at a surround sound?)
Can?t believe people said they watched Dune 2 here. Gosh, I hope you realise how good that movie can look and sound. Atrocious. Please upgrade this cinema sound and video system as currently this is a disgrace to the art of cinema.
For that price please watch it any movie on your iPhone with headphones you?ll have a better time (something I would never recommend, but it would be better than this cinema).

Curzon Cinema in Richmond is a perfect spot for lovers of arthouse films. The theater is comfortable, with spacious seating and great acoustics, making it ideal for enjoying a carefully curated selection of independent and international films. The lovely café offers a welcoming setting to relax before or after a screening.
An essential destination for a quality cinema experience.

I love this cinema - its intimacy and style. Pity that the one movie I want to see, Firebrand, isn't anywhere to be seen and I haven't yet been able to use my new membership since I got it in April. Strange that indie cinemas can be chocka with so many offerings and yet so many unappealing and that just don't excite the imagination, for me anyway. Too many social political movies and navel gazing relationship flicks that are the antithesis to the cinematic experience and taking the spectator into a different world to escape this dreary one.

We came to see La Rondine live from the Met. Sadly Curzon run out of programmes, which are usually provided for these Event streamings. The subtitles did not work for the beginning of the performance. We understood much less than we would have done. When leaving someone gave me a programme and I realise what I missed. Curzon knew how many customers were coming: they should try harder to satisfy them.

Hello. I have tried a couple of times to raise my complaint via the form in your Richmond site and it bounces back as undeliverable.I am very upset that my experience in your venue was unsatisfactory and also that my claim goes lots anytime I'm trying to put in the website.My partner and I went to Curzon Richmond on the 2nd of March at 4pm for the Dune session and we got E9 and E10 seats.Those seats were completely broken, the upholstery was missing and they were not quite clean. My experience throughout the 3 hours that the movie last was bad and I felt extremely uncomfortable, my clothes got stacked in the seat and the feel was unpleasant. For the price I paid for the tickets I expected a prime experience and what I got was a fiasco.I do understand that the business might be low but with this type of service, believe me it is going to be less. I don't think I will be keen any more in buying CURZON seats for my cinema viewings.
