As far as the bookshop is concerned, it?s excellent: a great selection of books, clear layout and helpful and friendly staff. The cafe staff are delightful and the quality of food is also good however many of us are not keen on the new seating area by the window which blocks light and attracts laptop users. It used to be a perfect area to have a coffee and read your newly purchased book but I?m afraid it now feels claustrophobic and too office-like. Such a shame.

Has a great selection of books...gift cards wrapping paper pencils etc..has a cafe serving coffee tea and a good selection of cakes HOWEVER getting a table is difficult due to people sitting on their computer for hours monopolizing the tables doing goodness knows what!! it's like a work station laptops everywhere and has completely changed the once relaxed cosy atmosphere of buying a coffee and reading a book or taking a break from shopping..I had to walk out as I couldn't find anywhere to sit so personally I would ban them ?? not sure how but I would certainly try...a disappointed customer ??

We go.
For coffee, babyChino and storytimes, it is really nice and welcoming. We always buy a book, tea, coffee and snacks and relax by the window so she can see the world going by . I also go there for coffees with my mum. Staff are all welcoming friendly and knowledgeable

I always have a great experience at this Waterstones! The staff are consistently friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable about their wide selection of books. I?ve discovered some fantastic reads based on their recommendations, which have quickly become favorites of mine. Their café area is also a lovely spot to take a quick break and enjoy a coffee. Highly recommend visiting!
