Sorry to say this but a big store chain like this treating customers like thieves is not acceptable basically everyone can so anything inside the store before leaving the store they should pay the money for the products is the rule even I didn?t leave the store they tried to make me answer for taking products I was just eating because I was hungry while purchasing even I ordered food and got back to shopping please give some respect to fellow customers

Online delivery from here is a joke. The pickers are lazy and when you ask for a refund they call you a fraudster! The manager Barry is absolutely useless and if they keep stealing from customers then customers will take what belongs to them!

Travel money booth has sign in window saying 'back at 16:00'. After going back to car park and sitting in car I went back to the booth, stood there for 10 mins waiting until chap at cigarette counter mentioned it's closed permanently. If it's closed permanently, put a bloody sign up.

Checkouts appallingly staffed ,queuing down aisle 18 , takes longer to get out of the store than it does to shop.

People say life's about looking upon reflecting and learning. Well I certainly will when I'm stuck in a line as long as the aisle.

I love shopping here but they really need to make the toilets nicer and provide paper towels (they used to). Helpful staff let down by penny-pinching management.

Unfortunately I am once again having to contact you after an unacceptable exchange with the same deputy store manager whom I referred to in this email chain from last year. This happened on Saturday 2nd March 2024 at around 12 noon.It started when I was at the self service checkout scanning my items. I was scanning them individually as I get cashback from my bank if I make a certain number of transactions within a month, and before long I had three ASDA employees hovering right behind me, watching while I scan the items. I continued to scan them, and then one of the three staff members hovering behind me then asked why I was scanning them individually. I explained that it was because I get cashback from my bank for doing it this way. The staff member then seemed OK with this response and then left. Around two minutes later another staff member asked what I was doing, so I explained it all over again to him. He said that the till was not a cash point. I replied to him stating that I wasn't getting cashback from the self service machine. I gave this staff member a demonstration so he could see how I was scanning and paying for the items. He seemed to understand and then left once he had noticed that I was not actually using the self service till as a "cash point".I then finished up scanning my items and proceeded to leave the store, but the biggest surprise was yet to follow. The store manager, or deputy manager whom I'd spoken to about sorting out the queue management at this store six months ago accosted me on the way out this time. He aggressively demanded to know what I had been doing and why I was doing it, so I explained it all over again to him for the third time.He was very rude and called me "odd" & a "wrong un" for scanning my items the way I did. He also instructed me to do my shopping on a weekday morning rather than a Saturday lunchtime as it would be less busy and that I wouldn't be clogging up the tills.I found this rich coming from someone who has clearly proved over the last six months that they have not dealt with queue management at all properly after the feedback I provided in my email of July last year. He was instead blaming me as a customer for creating long queues when in fact it's his bad management that was causing it. How one customer can be held responsible for causing long queues is beyond me as "clogging up" one self service till would not cause this.Bad queue management might be a more realistic reason for the stores shortfalls rather than blaming one customer. It was not only this that surprised and irritated me, but the terminology the store manager used to label me as "odd" and a "wrong un". I find this very primitive and wholly unacceptable as it only helped to inflame the situation. Not even 30 years ago would this have been acceptable. All in all, it was a very poor showing from Asda and an even more poor showing from the store manager trying to tell me when I can and can't do my shopping in store and the offensive and insulting terminology used to convey his message which borders on being a hate crime. It's the type of behaviour you'd expect from someone who is drunk and disorderly, out on a Friday night to engage in Anti-Social behaviour, but not a store manager. I did explain to him that if he'd have managed the queues better, then there wouldn't have been a problem in the first place, but he wasn't willing to accept this feedback and then just told me to go away.I've been a customer of Asda for a long time and have made many online orders, especially over the last few months (as you can probably check from my email address), but this experience has left me seething with anger at the vulgarity & bluntness shown by the store manager whom I can only describe as not being a fit and proper person at all, and certainly shouldn't be a store manager if addressing customers in such a repulsive way.

Never has any scan and go handsets, dirty toilets and security guard was really rude. Small man with a big complex.

This Asda store, conveniently located just 10 minutes away on the A3, is a mixed bag. Its proximity and ample parking are big pluses, especially with the added bonus of an in-store McDonald?s for a quick bite. However, as an experienced grocery shopper with a global perspective, I find its fresh food offerings lacking. The emphasis on frozen, canned, and processed items overshadows the fresh produce, which is not only scant but also predominantly packaged in plastic, a letdown for those of us preferring fresh, sustainable options.Another sticking point is the staff?s focus. It often feels like they prioritize restocking or handling online orders over engaging with in-store customers, creating a sense of being overlooked. This approach seems to reflect a broader company strategy valuing efficiency or perhaps online sales metrics over direct customer satisfaction. While the store delivers on convenience, it falls short in fostering a quality shopping environment and fails to meet expectations for those of us who value fresh, eco-conscious food choices and attentive customer service

Horrendous experience with customer service assistant named Kamali at the self checkout counter this evening. My husband and myself were self checking out as usual and had picked up a few cans of premix Malibu cans. We realised we did not have physical ids with us so I tried to show kamali a photo of my passport, she however refused to have a look and cancelled our whole transaction. She then rudely/ sarcastically said to us these are age restricted products and not energy drinks and walked away along with the cans. Absolutely shocking behaviour!! All she could say is, sorry, these are age restricted products and we are unable to sell these cans to you with no physical id and I we are unable to accept a photo of an id.I walked after Kamali trying to ask her for her name and she refused saying I had no reason to know her name. After several attempts she said her name is Kamali. I asked another customer service assistant to speak to the manager on duty. I explained to him what had just happened and all he had to say was, I will speak to her.ASDA please hire the right candidates for the job.

recently visited Asda and was disappointed with the level of customer service provided. The staff appeared rude and unhelpful, making it difficult to receive assistance when needed. Unfortunately, my experience was tarnished by the lack of support and professionalism displayed by the employees.

Asda is often regarded as pretty down-market but if you pick wisely there are many interesting, quality foods here especially in the World foods section. The prices are very competitive & the staff at this store are lovely ( l haven?t been to another one). Car parking is easy with one underground car park & one open; always plenty of spaces.
