Of tables, cannot take orders properly, gets confused of long orders, keep saying ?I am sorry, I am sorry? very slow and very reckless. They do not care of their job, and do not even seem to think consequences. Obviously most of the negative comments here are recently about staff. The owner has to sort this. She used to in the cafe and sometimes with her family. I am pretty sure when she is around, staff is more attentive but when not around they just mess around. I am thinking not coming to this place as the service compares to their high prices is unacceptable! plus you have to sort out wasps & bee raids in the garden. Even your staff are scared and drop plates as they are attacked.

We went thinking they would serve alcohol. However, they don't serve alcohol, hence we had to go elsewhere.

We have been here for lunch on 2 occasions recently and unfortunately have been disappointed with the service both times.
Some of the staff come across very hostile, almost as if us ordering was a nuisance for them. Both times there were mistakes on our order; on one occasion 2 meals were completely missed off the order - I can understand mistakes happened however the manager or may have been owner was very defensive which just ruined the lunch.
The food was good and overall I liked the ambience however would think twice about visiting now due to the service alone.

cute little, unusual place with a great atmosphere and great food, good variety we had 2 of the avocado dishes, which were delicious and the jacket potato was huge great value, the staff were helpful and friendly and the owner took the time to talk to us.. my 4th visit and will defiantly go back again.. go and visit you wont be disappointed.

Quaint place where we came for lunch but will definitely be back for afternoon tea which looked fabulous. Food was delicious, service good and location was lovely with easy parking.

We discovered this nice little village gem back in COVID lockdown days. If you fancy a walk on a sunny day through a nice neighborhood and green then enjoy a cuppa and have your cake too, this is a good joint.

This is such a precious location in this area. Loved by so many and a must to preserve in our community. There is nowhere else in this neighbourhood to enjoy a good coffee and stop at while walking the dog.

It's a small cafe but plenty of room outside. Good free parking. Open day times plus friday and Saturday evenings. The local residents are lucky to have such a wonderful place on their doorstep . I will be back

I have visited LR twice in the last seven days and on both occasions had a very pleasant experience. Today was an afternoon tea which was excellent, sandwiches had plenty of filling, extra tea refills , lovely cakes etc everything was very nice, however I really must praise the young man who welcomed us and then very politely offered an arm to help both of us to our seats in the garden as we both have mobility problems, he was very well mannered , courteous and so helpful A lovely afternoon. Thank you
