Please reinstate tables and chairs for outside use. Have been told they have done away with them...why? Also please clean doorway entrance floor as very dirty. Positive note, Coffee and service is alwsys good always

Nice cafe with space for prams/wheelchairs. Staff are always friendly. Not as much variety of food on day we visited but they may have had a busy day.

Came in to have my lunch. Asked for a cup of water and a wooden spoon. I come into this store once or twice a week, as a bus driver my break is always in this area. The manager Munna told me very loudly that I couldn?t stay because I hadn?t bought food yet but was using their supplies. I was going to order once I?ve taken my medicine which needs to be dissolved in water and stirred. Hence me asking for the cup of water and spoon. He made a very big fuss over it and was extremely rude to me. Won?t be coming back in here. He isn?t fit to be a manager.

My family member and I went to this Costa in Purley for coffee and cakes. Very nice atmosphere and clean. Very relaxing time.

So where do I start ?There are a few things wrong with this shop In particular :The biggest one is that the coffe tastes very different than all the other shops , I have been a costa customer for years now and I can tell across the board how the coffe supposed to taste .There is allways a bitter taste in the coffe dosent matter what time of the day I have been there . I don't know if has something to do with the machine or how often is clean but is almost undrinkable .The manager - As soon as he open the shops wich is pretty much on time , he makes coffe for customer in his own clothing , straight from outside behind the counter , headphones on no worries . This happened this morning as well and many times before .All the coffes are extra hot , I have burend my lips and my tongue countless times . Even if have requested for the coffe to be done on a standard temperature.Never enough sandwiches - not sure if is supplier problem or just not ordering beforehand .Not fast enough service- the staff moves in slow motion even if the line of customers is at the door or there are 2 customers is the same .The only member of staff that I will give credit to is the brunette English girl ( apologies for not knowing her name ). She is amazing, very polite, allways been super friendly and kind . She is the only one there faultless . Well done to her . Keep it up ! The last hope that shop has, to be honest . Her customer service and quality control of the order are 10/10 .

For the first time in many years I saw a Costa employee who was so happy to work. The worker's name is Munna, he works as if it is his business and he owns this cafe. He managed to do everything, clean the tables, make coffee and smile at everyone. If Costa doesn't reward him financially for this, I'll be disappointed.

Munna and Bethany are such an asset to the Purley Costa branch . Each time I visit the shop they are constantly smiling and happy to serve you in a courteous and friendly manner . I think it?s fair to state that without this fantastic team on board all the residents would truly be at a loss! Keep up the good work team and thank you !
