“cute little, unusual place with a great atmosphere and great food, good variety we had 2 of the avocado dishes, which were delicious and the jacket potato was huge great value, the staff were helpful and friendly and the owner took the time to talk to us.. my 4th visit and will defiantly go back again.. go and visit you wont be disappointed.”

“From my experience the staff are very polite and helpful, I've seen a couple rude customers here and there and they stay very professional, fair play to them they handle it well, I know I wouldn't be able to do their job I'd end up arguing.\\n\\nStockwise their products most of the time are in stock, very convenient at the end of the day when I want to get some bits for dinner.\\n\\nThey also have an Argos collection point which is great, you order a product off Argos and choose to collect it at this location.”

“With out doubt the best convenient store in Purley .done my shopping here last week . The staff were so helpful even carried my bags to my car ! The shelves were well stocked with everything I needed even bought some beautiful fresh flowers .the manager & staff were so friendly . & The price's so cheap !! There's plenty of parking outside of store too . Such a lovely clean store . Well done to all the staff !!Will definitely do my weekly shop here again .”

“Staff are a little thin on the ground nowadays at Tesco Extra Purley and there are one or two who have been working there for years and very loyal to the company. They deserve recognition for their longevity and knowledge. I have, at times, been asked about where items are in store being mistaken for an employee by a desperate fellow customer as I wear a blue jacket. Fortunately, I know where most items are stocked and can normally help as I have been a regular customer there for over 25 years and I try to help if I can. Likewise, if I see an item fallen on the floor I shall pick it up and return it to its rightful place. Very good selection of groceries by the way. They are also good for 'end of day' reductions however, nowhere near as good a bargain as they one were (80-90% off sometimes - now you're lucky to get 50% off). My only gripe is visiting customer services a couple of days ago to ask if a particular item was in stock only to be told to go down the isles and look myself (which I, of course, had already done!). The chap there didn't seem too interested in helping me an there were no other customers waiting!”

“Brilliant local general store and post office. They have been absolutely fantastic, especially during the COVID period where many items that were unavailable in the supermarket could be found here. Amazingly friendly staff and very handy post office and cash machine to boot.”
