Poor service, room was given away after a long journey and room that we finally got smelled of smoke. Booked a family room and got a double bed and single for a family of 4. Was very cramped and didn't feel safe to leave things in the room as we was given another room that was occupied by someone else. We just walked in and someone else's things we in there. So didn't feel safe in the new room we was given.

All aspects good. Welcomed by reception . Nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation was clean and room good. Impressed with security vigilance they saw my room was jarred open as I was with friends next room. They came to check Food good. IT re cards working needs to be looked at and reception had problems with incoming calls not being diverted. Staff helpful with info for the area and taxi info Thank you all

The rooms and cafe area were very basic and not particularly comfortable. It was clean but maintenance is needed. It?s not situated in a nice part of Woolwich. In future I?d pay the extra for the Premier Inn which is near. All of my London based colleagues were aware of how bad this hotel was when I mentioned where I was staying!

I?ve stayed in most travel lodges across the country and the bakery in Woolwich is definitely one of the cleanest and most friendly, especially Kerry on front desk she was very helpful. Breakfast was great, beds very comfortable

We came to stay to see Shania Twain at the O2. Perfect location for the river bus service back and forwards. Sarah was super friendly and helpful. We'll always stay there when going to the O2 in future.

The staff were so helpful , especially Sarah on Reception. Always cheerful and positive nothing too much trouble. Impressed with the size of catering facility and a bar. Rooms comfortable and clean. Security attentive and helpful. Coffee machines failed at same time! Food fresh and tasty Overall impressive - thank you

I had 100% booked for 16th to 17th Sept., but your dodgy website or whomever was behind it sent me confirmation for another date . Dodgy Website for booking, Appalling Bed and PTSD causing experience.

The front desk worker Nadine. Was so helpful, patient and friendly. Make us feel at home. She went out of her way to look for a ventilator for us. And from the Checking was very friendly and helpful. Thank you again and keep the good work.

Katie on reception was lovely and welcoming and was quick to help us when there was an issue with the first room we were allocated. Location was good for our trip to the O2. We used the boat to get there and back which was super fast and not busy!

It's a Travelodge, so it's a bit on the basic side, but it did all the fundamentals well. The bed was comfy, the water was hot with good pressure, the towels were good and the internet worked fine. The staff were excellent - a particular shout-out to Jiante, who worked the front desk. She was wonderful and seemed to be everywhere at once. She was very friendly and helpful and always on hand for emergencies (scissors, in my case!). It's always nice when front-of-house are engaging and interactive with customers. It really gives it a personal touch. Woolwich itself seems to have a tight community spirit, and Jiante tapped into that for me, Hotel is nicely located for the Excel Arena (one stop on the Elizabeth Line, a 10min walk). It's close to the DLR and London City Airport too, so for a business hotel, it's fine for a couple of days. Thanks Jiante, and Travelodge Woolwich.

rooms are not cleaned out for 7 days. sheets aren't to be changed either. This is so unhealthy even in 3rd world countries, the hotels are nice and clean. plus the staff is so unprofessional especially the cleaners.

The coffee machines were broken, there were no bowls to have cereal and fruit. Half of the cooked breakfast was not available or not edible. There were no plates for 5 minutes a and no cutlery. When we asked for cutlery to be brought out the waitress bought a single spoon to a table of four, bowls were still unavailable. I had to ask for bread and then was told there was no butter once I had already toasted it. When I asked for a refund as the breakfast we paid for was clearly not available, the reception desk said she?s not authorised. When asking the chef in passing he?s informed me that it?s not my fault I?m just the cook and the waitress has been on the toilet for 20 minutes. The room was ok but this experience will ensure we will not stop here again.

Does what it says on the tin Very polite reception staff. Clean and tidy. Over priced for a travelodge, but think there was an event at the O2 pushing up prices that night. Close to rail stations easy access into Docklands

The hotel wasn't that bad really! It seemed tidy and clean and reasonably well looked after, the reception staff and general staff were friendly and help full, but finding ladies underwear between mattress and headboard was unbelievably disgusting, i reported this to reception at 10.30am on Saturday 29th July

The hotel is very reasonable when compared to other hotels, the night staff are very loving and caring when it comes to serving drinks at the bar and helping at the reception, there was only one drawback which I would like to say was the bland breakfast and the lady chef was so rude apart from that I give the stay whole 5 stars.?
