The best bank in Palmers Green. The staff are always really polite and friendly, especially Jenny. I'm so glad that I joined Halifax.

Same as below.The door sign says it should be open but its locked. No explanation . A total waste of journey. Now have to get transport up to Southgate branch.Quite useless branch really.

Although advertised as open today and notices on the door showing it should be open and many people (including group4s delivering cash) ....not open and only online does it say "temporarily closed" with no explanation....normal banking day ...all other banks open..... disgraceful service

I went into Halifax Palmers Green on the 26th of November between 1:20-1:45pm and was greeted by an assistant sitting at the desk who immediately indicated to me I should stand on the red dot on the floor in order to keep a good few metres distance due to Covid 19. I immediately complied but was very disappointing to observe that other customers after me were treated differently and were allowed to stand right next to her desk without being told to stand on the red dot!! Even more so the same assistant (whose manners towards me were not great to say the least) offered to handle and deposit cash from a customer using the ATM machine and not just that but also handling the same customer's mobile phone. Why different standards? Why can't the same Covid precautions be applied to all customers? I felt I was treated differently. That left me a sour taste in my mouth! I really hope the management will look into the issue and offer the assistant in question a much needed training on how to apply the same standards to all customers and to treat everyone fairly.

Greeted warmly on arrival and met with LOTS of space to carry out any transactional activities in peace. The pay in point is speedy and efficient.

Went in Saturday 14th Sept first thing in the morning, got a lovely welcome from a gentleman & 2ladies (staff). They helped me check money into my account. Normally theres a hostile lady here so I try avoid banking here. Im hoping i dont have to change this rating in future because of her

Honestly I wish zero stars was an option. Rudest customer service ever. Constantly spreading misinformation to my family. Thespina was so rude and kept telling my brother lies about ISAs. She said you can't open an help to buy ISA if you already have an ISA funded. This is an absolute lie as you just have to transfer the money to a different account. I brought this up then she shouted at me for telling her how to do her job. She also said you can't open a help to buy ISA online and I literally just did it in 2 seconds. This is the worst bank ever and can't wait to move all my families money away. Every one there is lazy and hasn't got a clue about banking. If staff were this incompetent anywhere else they would have lost their jobs by now.

Attempted to close 3 accounts and transfer to another bank. Was told they were doing me a favour. Thought it was all sorted only to be told by phone a couple of days later that the money was not transferred and and was in an holding account. They blamed the other bank and said it was their fault!! I had to go into branch again to resolve issue. They suggested transferring to my own account and I sort out the individual transfers. Then they also stated I may need to go to other branches in wood green or enfield to sort the issue out. I work full time so was not impressed as this is my local branch. In the end i had to go to wood green and get a bankers draft issued and lodge it into my account and transfer the money into each account myself. Over all very poor customer service. Blamed other bank. Should have been a simple straight forward procedure. Will not use this branch again.

ive no problem with the staff but ive arrived several times in the last few months to find that the branch is closed 'due to unforseen circumstances'. so it seems its hit or mis as to whether ill find them open.

Very rude staff - giving misinformation. Told me to apply online and come back tomorrow with proof of ID. I did this but when I came back they said they can't do it here. Also one of the staff a tall lady was obnoxious and rude.
