Went into Poundland and wanted something not too expensive and found some noodles for £1.50 (good price) went to the checkout and payed but then noticed that my noodles had cracked at the bottom

- Good Local Branch -I'm a big fan of the high street rather than online shopping. Unlike many companies, Poundland deserve credit as they still seem committed to being in the community, with a good network of local branchs.With a good offering of simple and affordable products at reasonable prices ( although often slightly more than £1 these days). I find their food offering to be particularly very good. They offer a good selection of frozen meals and bottles of drink. These are often significantly cheaper than the main supermarkets for 'like for like' products.The store is normally very clean and well laid out. The staff here are always friendly, welcoming and helpful, and the self checkouts were efficient.

Poundland is a good shop with a veriety of somewhat discounted items but I don't think that POUNDland is actually selling that much stuff for a pound unlike how it was a few years ago when the highest price there was £2

Good shop, for odds and ends, just had fridges installed, so now offer frozen / chilled food selection. In the middle of the shopping precinct, opposite the Odeon cinema and various other shops.
